Electric motor sound in dash?

    When I have the stereo turned off I can intermittently hear a small electric motor sound in the dash, almost like the HVAC actuators are moving. Has anyone else noticed this and/or know exactly what it is? It's not super annoying, but it's definitely a bit bothersome to me.

    Like a vacuum noise? Pumps shutting down; normal.

    Not a vacuum noise. It sounds like a small electric motor. Happens even when the HVAC is turned off.
