@Elduder - Do you have your alignment specs? Stock UCAs?

Just finished installing the front shocks. Took about 4.5 hrs but should've been about 2.5 hrs. Plan on getting an alignment tomorrow morning. Wondering what numbers I should be looking for.

Looks like initial measurements are 2 1/2" on passenger side and 3" on drivers side. Passenger side (front and rear) is 1/4" higher than drivers side. Currently 3/4" nose high. Need to get the CB+2s installed to get my rake back.

Getting alignment on Monday, so no numbers yet. I’m not picky, will just be requesting stock specs. I removed my bumper liner up front and CMC is done so not worried or stressing over caster.

The guy that installed mine did some light alignment already and it tracks straight. Has slightly increased steering response so caster obviously dropped a little but it will when the UCA angles forward due to the lift. My Camber is still visibly high as well.

Also, yes stock UCAs. There is no need to replace them for these amounts of lift. Tundras appear to maintain a good amount of caster, compared to Tacoma’s at least. These COs arent extended travel as well so no issues with coil and UCA contact. Caster is also a bit of a preferential thing, low angles feel quick but squirrelly, high are relaxed but a bit slower. To each there own, although I do prefer a more stable and easy steering response on long trips.

I have this kit going on July 1st. Very excited. Also got spc uca’s. Just going with 1 inch rear block. Fuel vector bronze with falken at3s 295/70 18. Rci skid plate. Ditch lights, hidden led bumper. Going with Cali raised brackets and taking a chance on Amazon specials for lights (nilight).

Guys, I am looking at this Eibach kit now as the whole Bilstein backorder doesnt seem to be clearing up. Any more feedback from the guys that have completed the installs as far as ride quality for road conditions??? Thanks in advance.

I finished dialing mine in, just an FYI for anyone out there. These are preset to 2.25” of lift. I thought it was closer to 2” like the pro but found that with a coachbuilder .25” spacer it came out to right at 3” of lift.

I had some rattling when I put it in 4wd. Over the last week I lowered it .5” and now it’s just a smidge higher than my old pro was up front.

Ride was really nice, but has degraded some since I put on the new Mickey Thompson Baja ATs, 35s.

For the price it’s just really just a choice between the 6112s and the Eibachs. They seem like a steal at the current price.

I’ve got the stage 1 ready to go on, and it says in the instructions that the bottom perch is 2” with Eibach springs but I’m wondering what real world results are... I wouldn’t mind if it settled a little below 2” because I’m either going with 285/70 or 275/70.

    FWIW I’m at like 2.25 maybe 2.5 with 35s and 17x8.5 0 offset Methods.

Had to trim some in front and back to keep from rubbing.

You’ll be fine with that size.

I’m actually hoping I don’t get any more than 2”!

I don’t need more than maybe an inch to get those tires in there and I tow quite a bit so I’d like to maintain some good rake after I add shackles.

I went with stage 2s also. Left them at preset height and added 1 CB 1/2" shim to drivers side. Initially I was at 3" on the drivers side and 2 3/4" on passengers side. I haven't measured since they've settled nor have I installed my shackles yet. Rain and scheduling issues. Going to try again Friday afternoon to get them installed. Im actually 3/4" nose high w/o the shackles.

Anyone install this kit yet with stock rims and tires? Due to my wife dropping to part time with 2 kids I’m slowing saving money for rims and tires. Got a quote to get everything installed was thinking maybe just add spacers so it doesn’t look like the truck skipped leg day.

I’ve got JBA UCA’s, 2 driver 1 passenger CB shims, and a +3 CB shackle. I want 3” or more and still plan on getting rims and tires down the road but maybe a 1.25 spacer until I save up.

That’s exactly what I’ve got sitting in the shop except I also have air bags too. Waiting on 35” tires to arrive. Using my stock nightshade wheels because I like them and spacers.

good morning everyone. I am considering this stage 2 Eibach kit. I have coachbuilder +3 shackles ready to go. also have shims to do 2 driver and 1 passenger or 1 driver and none passenger. What do I need to purchase for new bolts and hardware to be able to use the shims. I am going for a 2.75-3 inch front lift. I like a bit of rake as I tow a nice bit of stuff with the truck.

Should also mention I have 17 inch Icon rims with a +25mm offset as well. so tire size I am thinking 295/70/17 or 285/75/17.

hopefully someone can answer a few of my questions.

    Thanks in advance.

Honestly you wont really need the shims. I got more lift than I anticipated with the shims and Im running (1) .25" shim on each side. The lift was right at 3" with that combo, but the coil overs had plenty of room left to raise them up some, so the shims werent really needed. Right now Im at about 2.5" up front, after lowering it some, which would basically put it where the coilovers were stock, even I didnt really need the shims.

With the +3s in back the rear is about 1.5" higher still.

I believe keeping the shocks at a lower setting and adding shims would make the ride a little better. Although I am not really knowledgeable with all of this either.

I initially adjusted them up on the drivers side about .33" to level it with the passenger side, noticed no difference in ride. Then later lowered both sides by .5" and still rides the same.

FWIW, Toyotas seem to be a 2:1 ratio on the front suspension. So to adjust it .5" requires adjusting the coil over by .25". Preloading can affect the ride, but these are pretty small adjustments.

I was under the belief that these would be a 2" lift, so I had planned to add the spacer then adjust by another .25" to get around 3". I felt like adjusting a whole 1" up would probably be noticeable, so I went the spacer route, only to find it was closer to 2.25 or 2.5" in the configuration that Eibach ships them out in.

At 3" I started getting some possible CV noise while turning, but still dont know for sure cause it was fine on stock wheels at the height. I had the alignment done and wheels done back to back and the noise started, so still trying to figure that out. Im happy with the 2.5" I have now.

Ive been busy trying to figure out a clunk/clicking issue ever since the tires went on and the alignment was done. I started by lowering the suspension, which I had planned to do when I realized it was closer to 3" in the front. It seemed like that made it worse. Then I started getting a terrible noise over speed bumps.

Ultimately took it over to another shop and they found the LCAs werent torqued right, one bolt in fact was at ~30 lb/ft. Anyways, its all good now, lift in the front is at 2.25" and the rears are the +3s. I like the rake and plan to add some gear to the back so itll probably settle a bit more.

Not yet. Change in plans with Memorial Day sales. I bought rims, and now searching for tires.

Post some pics when you're all finished if you can and good luck with your build. I'm considering something similar, looking for a true 3" of lift in front after settling.

Aside from the problems, how did it ride at 3" ?
