Can anyone tell me more about elka. What kind of quality, ride comfort , reviews ect.

I'm no expert in the field but I want to trade out my wescott 3 1 for a full set up. Looking for better ride , handing, and capabilities. Elka and Dobinson have really caught my eye as great bang for buck or so I think.

Ride is relative to what you want to drive through.

My old icons rode like shit on the road but in the dirt at 30mph they were amazing and butter smooth

Icon runs old technology that elka ran 7 years ago. Elka custom tunes every order to the individual driver. I don't have them on my tundra yet but I've been thrilled with their sxs results.

I have Elka on my FJ, and it is great. Built specifically for my vehicle.

sorry yes, not comparing elka to icon. Its more of an example, if you want 3 inches of lift and to hit the dirt you’re giving up something’s else

What if I just want a Ram Limited air suspension esque ride on the road? Quiet and smooth?

What are you guys hearing about dobinson and why it may be better than elka?

I'm looking for a better ride and better handling, without a lift

I asked dobinson about their 2.5 rear shocks. They said they are similar to 5160’s but more aggressive.

I, too, am curious about Elka.

Elka is Canadian made and advertised to be a great winter setup for the cold, I’m going with them.

Elka is designed to be corrosion-resistant and hold up to the cold weather in Canada.

I've run Elka on various quads. Was very happy with my first 2 sets after that 2006 or so it seemed that the quality started going down hill. I don't know about their truck line but I've heard good things about the Snowmobile & SxS stuff.

I've decided on Elka as well when the time comes to replace the stock Fox suspension. For me (with a Sequoia) the choices are a bit more limited than for the Tundra, but I the deciding factor between Dobinsons, OME, and Elka was the fact that I can get them rebuilt here in Canada without having to ship them to the US and incur the extra wait and fees.
