I’ve tried searching, but no luck. Does anyone have experience with 37x12.5x17 Pro Comp AT Sport?
Long tread life, not too heavy, and well priced. Appears to be appealing. I just don’t know much about how well that tire does. Some reviews are promising, others say balancing issues. Hoping someone on here has tried them out and might know a little more.

@Cruzer just went to 39”. I suggest you skip 35’s AND 37’s. Commit.

I may or may not have recently found that thread AND the jump to 39” KM3

I then may have also mentioned to Bre
“Look I can cut here and here and also here and I should be able to squeeze 39s” - me

“but you love how fast the Tundra is and that’ll kill the speed” - Bre

She right though, 39” is a ways down the road for me.
I’m still trying to convince myself to jump to 37” sooner rather than later and endure the stock gear sluggishness until I can afford gears and a rear locker (which will be awhile). Part of what’s appealing to the pro comps is that they’re the same weight as my current 35” Toyo ATII and basically the same tread pattern.
Harder rubber compound is what I’ve read has lead to the long tread life - which means a sacrifice in grip, but longer life.
I just can’t seem to find much on them, especially not in 37x12.5x17 - hard to find anything good or bad on them in that size. Most of what I’ve found is on the 35” which is mixed but sways more to “like” than “dislike” aside from those who had balancing issues.

Not like I’m ordering tires anytime soon, more just planning things in my head haha.

Lol I like my 35’s but when I got home from work today I looked at the truck and thought they kind of look small... but then reminded myself they are perfectly fine

Also, same. Some days the 35s just look too small. Other days they’re fine, but sometimes... :boink:

Point proven when @sdde4n dug out some 37” holes and my 35”s couldn’t reach the ground

Now I need to decide if I go tried and true Toyo RT, one of the few AT tires in 37”, or something different...

Oh and figure out how I’m going to cut enough to clear while retaining stock fenders :ohsnap:

Nope. There’s a lot of room to set up entry and departure for a 3rd Gen mid travel— even with 37’s. Just may not accommodate LT width for 2nd, 3rd Gen.

Yeah, going up there are 3 routes now: easy; hard for most; and really challenging (with two additional, seldom used, to the right of those). We only had two newer drivers (and only one really new to off-roading, and not driving a Tundra) which is why we threw aside our easy newcomers route in favour of this fun romp. The new driver in a 3rd Gen 4 Runner had trouble getting through the sand uphill to the upper section. Aired down more and with @eccracer104 as a side-by-side guide she made it to the top! But this was my second time up El Diablo (yeah, yeah, no pictures, so it probably didn’t happen), and I didn’t even remember there was any kind of upper obstacle, so it must be more rutted now than last time.

    Update:
Got home from the shenanigans run and I couldn’t put gas in my tank.
Read a few threads, wound up at the dealer, and got my fuel tank replaced under warranty

Got my truck back today and was able to fill up problem free :woot:

Damn! Sorry that this happened to yours. I guess the cause, if there is one, is over-topping on fill-ups.

That was likely the cause as I topped off prior to the fun run.

Most likely topping off the tank, so learn from my mistake and don’t do that. Haha.

I thinks it’s a rollover valve, and when others have had problems it’s usually after hard wheeling. *But* topping up as a habit seems to be a predicating factor.

Because there’s no other way to fix it. The valve is internal and far enough down from the entrance that no one’s found a tool that will reach it. I know one guy that removed his tank, took out the valve, and reinstalled the tank. Good to go until it isn’t (BOOM!). It’s supposed to be a critical safety piece... if you roll your truck, it closes and prevents gas leaking from the intake hose.
