It doesn’t bother me, just clean up after yourselves. Like others have said, it’s just a truck. Where would you draw the line? Dirty uniform after a game not allowed? Dirty shoes? Glitter from a cheer/dance competition? All I ask is that you’re careful. I can clean leather and vacuum floors

I’ll let adults, just not drunk adults. I still would like them to wait till we get somewhere. And my daughter and nieces, they are the type that eat chips one small bite at a time trying not to get chip crumbs on their lips. Crumbs go flying everywhere! They’re not allowed to eat on my couch either. Dinner table please.

I’m a plumber and I’m always dirty when I get off work. I do have towels covering my seat. I take my truck off road and it gets really dusty but I always clean the crap out of it afterwards, inside and out. I guess since I grew up pretty poor, once I was able to afford to buy something nice for myself I decided I wanted to stay new as long as I could keep it that way. My last four vehicles I used and abused but they always were brought back to perfect because of my OCD.

Thanks for the share. Yea we let the boys eat doughnuts (donuts) and snacks in the truck. No “actual” meals as someone mentioned.

I like new the new car smell and like the interior to be clean and inviting. That said we will have a coffee or water. Overall we don't eat that often in our vehicles but that's by individual choice and not because of a rule. When we do its food that isn't sloppy or greasy. More snack like.

Bananas and some snack bars that don't have crumbs when bitten are good examples.

Car seats for me are like recliners so if something is going to drip I'll be wearing it. Murphy's law.

In most any other chair it's natural to lean forward a little so less likely I'll be wearing the food.

If the food involves ketchup, condiments like tarter sauce, mayo, oil/ vinegar or if food needs flatware then it won't be eaten in the vehicle. Also I see people eating fried chicken in their cars. Not chicken tenders but the wings, legs, thighs etc. That too will never happen in ours.

So they can pound down some Taco Bell in your truck but have to squeeze and wince not to drop the subsequent fart? Now that to me is more like prison!:D

There's no eating in the Tundra period. I only allow the kids to have water, my wife and I can enjoy iced tea if we want. I don't really allow any food in the truck especially take out, it all goes in the bed. This actually goes for all my vehicles.

These guys know what's up! We eat at the kitchen or dining room table. No food or drinks in the living room or especially the bedrooms. I don't like eating in vehicles either, especially if I'm driving. Just something feels off about it to me. I do agree that no one is going to starve if they have to wait to eat their food. I don't even bring coffee with me because it can spill and stain. I'm also OCD on how the doors are shut, use the handles! My wife and kids know not to ever touch the windows as well. Even the dog knows.

Dirt and dust are different and here in the SW, there's not much you can do about it. Still, I don't drive much with the windows down and that helps.

I do allow it because its no worse that having young boys that play football and baseball getting in all sweaty and dirty. I do have the Cabela's waterproof seat covers. They are awesome.

Wife allowed to eat in the Tundra ( I gotta sleep sometime ), But if you are NOT making the truck payments, then you really don't have any say. I eat and drink in the tundra because I'm the one detailing it. every time I give friends a ride they seem to leave soda bottles in the door pocket.

I only have one rule: if you enter the truck with something, you leave with it. That rule applies to me as well. I hate clutter. I don't mind eating or drinking as long as everything is put away or removed afterward.
