No.... not yet. I'm sure once it's not a "new truck" anymore I'll loosen up a bit. Plus, I need to face the realities of having a 3.5-year-old and a newborn growing up—it's probably gonna be hard to say "no food" on family trips with young kids...

We are on the move too much with kids sports not to allow it otherwise there are nights none of us would eat until 10:00 PM. Cardinal rule is that no trash at all is left behind.

Pretty much no. On long trips I will allow it but we will have a revision of the rules every time. Keep your grubby paws off of the seats. And I always tell them to be careful. As much as that is worth. I hate when I go and pick up fast food and my truck smells like it the next day.

But everyone knows how I am about my stuff, so usually there is quite a bit of respect shown. Most of the time I make everyone wait until we get to where we’re going. There’s no reason to eating if you’re going to be home in five minutes.

Funny I thought I was the only one that didn’t allow food in my truck. My cousin borrowed my GMC one time and when I got it back there was a chicken finger under the seat. I told him no eating in my truck he said he didn’t then I showed him a pic of the chicken finger he laughed it off saying I needed to relax
He will not be borrowing the PRO

It's just a truck. My 2 young sons or my wife being happy and content out weigh whatever attachment I have to it. And considering there's always a layer of dirt/dust in my cab and crap all over my weather mats I really couldn't care less if my kids eat and possibly spill.

If it were some luxury car might be a different story... but again, it's a truck I didn't buy it to keep it all spic and span

Having a family and using the truck for road trips it is difficult to not allow it, but I always have to warn them and remind them not to spill (as if it would help).
In my Tacoma a friend of my son had a chocolate milk shake that he spilled on the rear seat, and did not say anything about it - I think he did not even realize it and if he did he would have been to clueless to say anything. Well, by the time I realized it, it was all soaked into the seat sponge, so it was impossible to get out. I would wash the seat cover, and then the brown would just seep back to the surface out of the sponge.

No fried chicken!!! I have no other rules about eating in my truck, yet. I feed the dogs in the back seat when we are on the road. Life's too short and seat covers work.

Absolutely not. I have to carry my dog in the truck and I have to bomb proof the entire passenger side of the vehicle just to make sure he doesn't leave anthing behind. I never let food or drink in the Tundra, or any car for that matter.

I allow some snacking - jerky, protein bar, string cheese.. We don't eat fast food or other garbage so I don't have to worry about that. On top of that my kids are pretty clean in the first place. We only rarely have sodas and if we do containers have to have a lid. Usually it's just water though.

    Congratulations Darth/Curt.

Do you buy shoes and never walk in them? Nope. So why buy a tuck and never have fun in it? No matter what the mess is at the end of the day it can be cleaned. It's material. Eat away but clean up after yourself.

Heck yeah. I eat breakfast on my drive to work in the morning. The boys can have non-messy food in the truck, and they are neat eaters anyway. I don’t let it turn into a pig stye though, garbage is cleaned out next stop, and vacuum cleaners are an amazing invention.

I didn’t buy my tundra to rule my life, I bought my tundra so my life would rule!

I didn't allow it for about the first 3 years I owned it. I guess I was trying to keep the new feeling. Now I don't mind.
