    Agree with this.

Can you tell me again what happened with the girlfriend? Was she questioned at all? Did she confess right there to driving? Did they do a road side sobriety test? try to do a breathalyzer test? Take her back to do a blood test? Just let her go and drive home?

The DA can't round up the bac. Any half ass lawyer would already have requested a copy and would jump all over that. If it ain't .08 you can't equate...

You can actually get dui in California and be below a .08. I think the cut off is like .06 if the officer believes you are impaired.

In CO it’s .04, but it’s a driving while impaired, not a full blown driving while intoxicated. With a CDL license, even lower. I dropped my Class A CDL for that reason alone.

Yeah I believe if your below a .08 but still impaired in California it’s called a “wet and reckless” a little bit less then a DUI but they still make an arrest on it.

Just another reason to hate California.

I am in no way promoting drinking and driving, but at the same time, the DUI laws have gotten ridiculous. They're at the point now that if you have 2 or 3 beers you could get popped. I don't know about you guys, but I can't even detect the slightest effect of a couple of beers. What's worse is the fact that If I (dude with no record, not even a traffic ticket) was to get busted for being barely at the limit, it would cost me more money and probably even prison time than if some thug with a record held up a damn convenience store with a weapon.

That thug would probably walk with probation, but due the the media hype that drinking and driving got back in the day from the groups like MAD Mothers, etc, I would do mandatory jail time and pay stupid money cause I had 3 beers that didn't affect me in the slightest.

Again, drinking and driving is dumb and you should never do it, but the laws have become even more outrageous.

If you drink two 20 oz cups of beer at Coors Field during a ball game, depending on your size....you could literally be near CO's 0.04 "impaired" level. ..

C'mon, don't start with the beer snob crap. Us truly dedicated drunks have come to appreciate the benefits of affordable, easy to drink all day long beers like Bud Light and Miller Lite.

I personally have recently switched to Lite from Bud Light. Half the carbs and less calories, gotta watch that the beer gut doesn't get too big.

Dunno, might be ok but it's pricey. I can always find a store with Miller Lite on sale for $18 per 30 pack.
