I have a problem when driving down the road with a cross wind my driver side wiper will not stay connected to the windshield. I get half a swipe. Passenger side is fine. Not sure if my wiper is POS or something else is going on. Anyway know how to remedy this?

I have been less than impressed with the wipers on my last 3 tundras. They work pretty well if there's a good rain and you are going less than 60 or so. Give them a year or any high speed or light drizzle and they bounce or leave streaks. There may be aftermarket solutions by now, but you aren't alone. The latitude mentioned above may just do it for you!

Just ordered a pair of Rain X Latitude water repellency. Will see how well they work. I threw away my OEM blades and bought an aftermarket pair, interstellar champ beam force on Amazon. The passenger side works great, driver side catches wind and well.. sucks! Loving throwing good money after bad.

I replaced my wiper blades this morning with Rainx Quantum blades. They lock in tight but the pinch clips do not clear the notch on the wiper arm, they lock in tight and cant be pulled out tho.

So your saying you can't get them off very easily?

The old ones came off fine, I was concerned that the replacements may not lock in but they do, give me a minute and I will post a pic

Here the new wiper installed. The pinch tabs do not clear the notch at the rear of the wiper arms.
No big deal. They are locked in and can’t be pulled out I have tried

Looks good, looking forward to trying them. Have a 7 hour drive next Sunday through bad weather I assume. I'll give them the full test. Have a DAP remote tune coming too, hopefully I will get that installed before I leave.
