We put the F5s back on haha

Currently trying to figure out what to do with it. Might get the Dobinsons MRR kit for now then Solo Motorsports LT later. The 4runner and 2nd gen Tundra need more love first.

How much wider are the fenders and who makes them? I have a dent in my bedside and might just get some wide fenders they look pretty cool

Fiberwerx and as far as DC, fronts are 3" bulge and 1.5" rise. The rears are 4.5" bulge and 2.5" rise.

Dang that’s pretty wide what’s the offset of your wheels I’m running -12 wheels I would need like a 2” wheel spacer to try and bring them out the fenders probably

My wheels are -10mm. You don't want to bring them out beyond the fenders. The whole point is the fenders are wider for my tires to tuck and clear.

Just read your whole adventure, very cool build. We are the other end of the spectrum, two old campers gone soft with a 2wd optimized to tow a 20' Hood River Rpod. Nice to see another 2004 Blue Marlin DC. Glad you hung on to it.

Sorry I'm just seeing this. I check in sporadically here and there. We are headed towards the RV life soon, roughing it is getting harder the older we get. We are talking about possibly selling the bed and fiberglass and building a flatbed for it. We don't have any care to long travel it since we already have a long travel toy. We'll see though!

No apology necessary. I'm not on here all the time either. I'm thinking about a shell for easier access. This tonneau looks nice but it really inhibits getting to stuff. Enjoy your toys.

A shell inhibits getting to stuff as well, get yourself a “push pull stick”

Got a stick.I was looking at the windows that open out and being able to grab stuff from there as well. With the prices on shells, it's just a thought for now. Thanks for the Input.

It would be nice to have windoors/surveyors cap for sure. I have a older Snugtop and those were never offered. Not sure what’s new on the market for our trucks and if they would have them.

I was looking at the Snugtops. If I were to get one, that would be the one. They're very well built and the paint to match would look pretty spiff. I have the hard tonneau that was ordered with the truck. It looks nice but you have to watch the height of what you put back there and on the occasion where you do want to crawl in the back of the truck it makes the already difficult task of hauling my ancient carcass back there even more of a chore.

So Aaron's USB with a bunch of designs and scans was corrupted months ago. We thought this file was on it but he found it on our computer last night. He already started making some changes to it. So we'll have a pretty cool hybrid bumper soon!

I took it out yesterday and it surprisingly kept up with our long travel 4runner through the wash. It only makes me want to long travel this thing even more! Then I wanted to climb this rock and scraped the transfer case skid because I forgot how long this truck is haha

2wd 4runner made it up the same rock with an auto locker in the rear. Little thing made such a difference :locked:

Got a Flated topper mostly for our 2nd gen but works on the 1st gen, too. Which is so damn neat. It's a tad long on the 1st gen but it shouldn't be a problem. I'm excited to camp in it!
