I've always wanted one of these E36 M3's but could never find the extra garage space or time to build one up.

In general I'd love to have a dedicated track car, so my 3rd vehicle needs to be a Miata/MX-5 or BRZ/86/FR-S

I have had a few of mine.

First up, I always wanted a WS6 TransAm or the FireHawk. I found the faster of the two, and even more powerful. Yep, a white 2002 TransAm FireHawk.

This car was so comfy to just cruise in. There wasn’t a whole lot of factory parts on this car.

    -subframe
    -stage 3 monster clutch
-strange engineering S60 rear axle (after exploding 3 factory 10 bolts) 4:10 gears
-motor was built. I don’t have the time to list all of it. It did 440hp to the ground without NOS. With the 150 shot, car was ridiculous.

Next up was a Corvette. I wanted a Z06, but with the rumored motor issues that some were having with the 7.0, I went with the Grand Sport 6.2 LS3. I have to say, these cars are amazing. From the brakes, to the rip your stomach out g force handling, awesome power delivery, removable top...what’s not to love.

I have to say, I also wanted a Tundra. Every time I seen a 2nd Gen, I wanted one. I mean come on, words haven’t even been made on how they look. One of my favorite all time trucks.

The day I finally pulled the trigger. I sent this picture to my wife, since she didn’t know I was buying one.

    19D9ADCD-DE55-45BF-B5D8-94BE91FB1CA2.jpg

12’ MGM CM Tundra. My color choices were white, silver, and MGM. In Colorado, these damn things go quick. Finding one without FlexFuel, even harder. You all know the rest. 3 years, 8 months, 89k miles later I sold it on CL in 12 hours.

All three together, my daughter loved washing “her” car. We would go on long drives, just her and I. We had a lot of fun.

    7A741F37-139A-4DB9-827C-77A6EDC3B4A2.jpg

Funny how life changes so quickly. Now I don’t own one of them.

What would I like if I could reasonably afford it?

    Sports car:
I do like a Porsche 911T. One can reasonably get a low mileage midlife crisis under 60k.
    B1166926-20E9-4CC5-ABA0-C5BFC7112447.jpg

This may sound cliche, but I have always had waistband boners (thanks @boardude for that term) for a Supra. I moved to CO in June of 97’, and met up with a pretty fun crowd of people. Well one of these people had a 1997 Supra. Oh that was an amazing car he had, for a relative short time. The car was totaled by August 97. Broke my heart. It was just like this Edmunds car review photo.

    Muscle car.

This would be a two part, couple classic, and a few current.

Let’s go with my classic choice.

Now I probably couldn’t afford a clean classic in a Chevelle.

First up would be a 70-72’ 454 Chevelle SS, LS6 package. This is the last of the muscle car era. 450 hp, 4 speed, 4:56 gears. Whoa

Not a fast car in today’s standards, but it had plenty of street credit back in the day.

    B6A09D83-E05E-4C36-B16D-3B67F10BD2E3.jpg

My ultimate classic that I could reasonably afford would be a 66’ Chevelle SS 396 car. If I could find a clean one for a great price, I may roll on my own mother. Just looking at this car gives me carpel tunnel syndrome.

    F56EC996-5099-4F57-A31E-C4DEF79A7476.jpg

Ok ok, now for the modern.

This is easy for me. It would either be a ZL1 Camaro or a Roush Mustang. I think we all know what those look like.

I would like an authentic 1971 Pontiac GTO Judge Convertible.

Mine was a clone built with the correct ram air 455 H.O.

    Some stuff
    :headbang:

we had the 4 door version of that for awhile. a '98. last year they made the sedan in that body style. never should have sold it. the neighbors a few doors down have one sitting in their driveway. totally neglected. 3 flat tires. i haven't seen it move in 4 years. if i had the money, i'd knock on the door and just write them a check. it was one of my favorite cars.

they're just up the road. pretty cool to drive by there and see them all parked out front. it's a very well built truck.

What the hell you laughing at? I’m a simple man. I like driving anything where the driver sits in front of the front wheel. Cabovers, box trucks, RVs.

    Hi Roman,

If money was no object I would want a 1962 Ferrari 250 gto. It would be nice knowing I have a car that sold at auction in 2014 for $38.1 million dollars and others rumored for private sale up to $55 million dollars. Only 39 of these ultra rare ferraris exist. If your going to dream why not dream BIG right! IMG_1879.jpg

Must have been one of the Motorex cars back when they were doing that. I heard they only got a handful in the country before they were shut down. I think there is a 20 or 25 year law that could allow exemption of these to be driven on the street every once in a while, sort of like having antique tags on a car.

Yes it is a Motorex car (one of 9). It has a long story behind it. He has taken it a long way from what it was originally. He has some great contacts in Japan who have helped bring the car to the level it is today. The car is 100% Nissan with all NISMO performance parts only on the car. Including a performance computer that was for race cars only that NISMO rented out but had to be returned if you were no longer racing the car in Japan. It is putting down some very serious horsepower. We had it on a 4wd Mustang dyno known as the heart breaker. It was putting down over 468HP at all 4 wheels. The Atessa system was kicking in due to variation in roller speed, so it was limiting power at that point. We believe the car is making over 550 WHP on the street. Motohiro Matsumura the Designer of the RB26 Engine at Nissan is now the President of Nissan NNA and he looked at the car at a Nissan Owners club show that was held at the Nissan Farmington Hills headquarters. He said it was the best R34 on the planet. Which was extremely high praise. On the street the car is a beast. It is violently quick. When he first got the car it was faster than my Nismo 350z and would pull strongly away from it at the light. After all of the Nismo performance parts were added to the car. He would leave a light next to my Nismo and he would be in the next zipcode before I could shift out of first gear. It is ridiculous. Nissan's official power numbers of 274hp were a complete fabrication to meet Japan regulations. The car bone stock never made anywhere near that number.
