I know it's a commonly recognized truth that Super White goes the fastest, but I wonder how many realize that the Double Cab has almost 25 more horsepower. All that AND a bag of chips!

My father in law and myself went to pick up our trucks together. He bought an old man double cab while I bought the cool as hell crew max. We had a drag race that night on the way home and let me tell you it was dead even but let me say the true winner is the crew max for the coolness factor.

I thought they were the same power rating but when all the crewmax guys load up their tall boyfriends in the back, (that's why they wanted the room right?) the extra weight slows them down giving the appearance that the DC is indeed superior

You guys should be driving windowless vans with free candy painted on the side.
    I got a double cab because I needed a 6 foot bed.

DC's have not only more power. Can do this too. You can't do this with a CM (altough CM's can store a lot of soccer balls in the bed. (SARC....SARC>>>>)

The thing is that camper would be great to have when it's -65 and nearest road to Fairbanks is 200 miles away. (How could a camper that big get 200 miles away from Fairbanks with no road???
Answer.....Winter river ice roads when most shit gets moved. Lived it.

That's makes sense. But these were being used as guest houses or storages. I pulled 6 yards out of one.

Have you actually measured it? Its 6.5 from the back window to the outside of the tailgate. I'm guessing the CM is the same way. So, it's more like 5 ft 2!

Aren't the DC's a little lighter? That would make them just a little faster.
