I am installing some bed lights and am running them off the brownish wire under the door step. I read other posts in this forum indicating that was the wire that went to the cargo lights. I tested it and found that it was true. However, upon splicing a wire onto that small browish wire, my cargo light no longer comes on. I have checked all the fuses and none are blown. I thought it might be a bad relay so I switched them up but that is all good.

Does anyone have any idea why my dome lights work but not the cargo light? It isn't the light bulbs as the wire (that brownish one) is no longer getting any power when I flip the cargo light on or have it set to door with the door open.

I just found out there is a fuse box deep under the driver steering wheel. Found the cargo light fuse. Fixed.
