Had it for over 2 years and won't drive it. But loves to ride in it. My 5 year old though loves it. Calls it a monster truck... just wait till I get a lift and bigger tires. He will go nuts. Lol

Mine prefers her Venza but will be taking it to her work tomorrow while I get some work done on her car. Its a tight parking garage and I'm sure she'll do just fine.

    That is awesome!
It sounds like something my wife would do....if she was able to accomplish what yours did.

My wife went from a 2017 Sienna to a 2019 Forester. She drove the Tundra when we were test driving vehicles, but she hasn't driven it since.
The crazy idiots that built my house 25 years ago thought a single 16 foot garage door was sufficient for a 2 car garage. They must have never met anyone that drives/parks like my wife. That should be about enough space for her to park her Forester...almost!

She has.. It is a base model and she is not a base model type of girl. She likes her Lexus GX 460 better. I think she has driven my 20 year old wrangler more than my truck.

She will drive it but I make way to nervous she says :notsure:
She would drive our Yukon XL Denali occasionally but says I’m different with the Tundra
Back when we first met in MT she said girls don’t drive trucks she pretty quickly learned that around those parts if you don’t drive a truck you don’t drive
As previously stated it is ours and we have insurance so she’s welcome to it

Has a couple of times, but it’s nerve racking sitting in the passenger seat of my truck while someone else is driving it.

I am teaching my 15 year old how to drive on it. The LDA and Park Assist help her understand the vehicle position, and I don't have to say anything. Once she gets her learners permit, I'll feel much more comfortable with her driving on the roads.

My wife likes to wait until I have her Tahoe up on the jack stands in the middle of a service and then will tell me she desperately needs to go somewhere and that she has to take the tundra. Other than those times I usually come up with some reason why it's not a good idea.

My wife refused to drive my 13 forever, went on a 6 month deployment and upon return had to buy myself a 19 tundra, now we both have one.

I think I'm from the same school as you. I am seriously looking for a newer manual with all the safety features for the kids to share. In addition to the value of knowing how to drive a manual...texting is pretty difficult with one hand on the gear shift ;)

My wife does drive my 2013 crewmax tundra but it does make her nervous.,The reason for that is when I bought my 2000 tundra limited TRD access cab brand new and hadn't paid the first payment, she took it on a trip to Nashville fro a seminar.on the way back she stopped for gas and as she was leaving a guy wanted to get to the pump. She backed into those concrete poles at the end of the pumps and shoved the back bumper into the bed! $2,500.00 later it was repaired.must have been good for it because I still have the truck and drive it every day 371,000 miles! They do make repair parts!!!

Taught both my girls how to drive a manual !
They thought I was mean when I made them back up on a oval drive
(in a park so it was a long drive)
using mirrors until they could do it both ways without the wheels going off the asphalt!!!

My oldest turned 16 last spring. And because he sure as heck ISN’T driving my Tundra (!!!!!), we went looking for a reliable little econo car. It had to be manual. Settled on a Yaris with a 5-speed. It’s actually a hoot to zip around the city in, and both of our boys will have a rare skill. ;)

When our kids learned to drive they both learned on stick, and still prefer it to this day.

Owned her since '16-Aug, and wife has yet to even sit in the driver's seat much less drive her. Only driving she does is from the passenger seat!
