Does your Tundra fit in your garage?

Not in my front garage, my LX470 and 4Runner live there, tundra lives out back in the shop.

My cookie cutter suburbia house doesn’t have a garage that it would fit in.
Like Wahayes, it’s also completely filled with BS that needs to be organized (and tossed) before anything fits in it!
That will happen within a year because we’re moving to where the seasons change from something other than nice, “summer” and REALLY UGLY HOT summer.

 

I usually don’t park in the middle, however, the concrete ledge in the back acts as my stop. I have to back in, but once tires hit I know I have four inches between front bumper and garage door. Can still walk behind the truck when parked.

 

Technically 2 Tundras fit in my garage lol
Only park the big one in there for the winter.

 

So what's under the black cover? Looks to be a 80' Monte Carlo.

Yes about 2”

 

My truck fits with plenty of room on either side just not much to go in the height department

 

Garage is an absolute here, will always be a huge factor in houses we own. It's a luxury to have it be 50deg or more when it's subzero outside.

 

Length wise I have about 6’ to spare. Height wise I better check the PSI in my tires or my antenna might come off.

 

Lots of winter projects...truck/boat stuff ....lately. 50 ft length.

Ya those two are bigger than the one I caught. Mine measured 52". What did the larger of the two you caught measure?

 

I'm jealous of all you guys with your big garages, though I knew when I bought this house that a full size wouldn't fit.

Bottom photo is a 49.5” for measure. I’m 6’2” which doesn’t help fish look bigger..haha

 

Tight, but I get it in. A perfectly measured tire stop, that can't move was a must in my case....stops me within 1-1/2" from the wall, which gives me 2" at the rear (less than 1/2" after I placed some rubber and foam on the garage door hinge).

 

Wait wait wait wait. Where does your wife let you put all your stuff if the Tundra is in the garage?

 

This has been my struggle for the past 17 years of living in suburbia! The house we bought five years ago has 233.5” wall to door. I test drove a Crewmax last fall (228.9”) and found I could get it in with and inch or two one each end.

Taking delivery of a 2021 Crewmax Trail in the next couple of weeks as a result!
