IMO the Sport trim with the color matched parts and honeycomb grill might be the best looking one. Although I don't think the chrome looks bad. When it comes to spending money on a chrome delete vs functional mods, the delete falls lower on the to-do list.

I have spent almost $800 on chrome delete that could have went toward new wheels and tires

One downfall of today's market is not being able to see these trucks and their trims in person before buying...let alone actually finding what you want...

Oh hell no. Lol for 800 bucks that chrome is staying right where it's at lmao:rofl:

Like my grille is only bothering me right now because I can tell that rocks and bugs had put little digs in the chrome on the plastic so I may strip it and paint it white due to that. But that literally is the only reason I'm even considering doing anything with it haha

Toyota's big miss was not color matching the TRD OR like they did with the Sport. The Sport looks infinitely better. If anything, the Sport should have chrome because sport = flash while the OR should be color matched because off road = utilitarian.

I was chatting with my saleslady earlier this week and she said that every person who bought a '22 TRD OR from her dealership so far has asked about deleting the chrome. Every. Single. One. That's more than 35 trucks so far. I told her to tell Toyota. She smirked and said that she has passed it along to them each time, and that she'll send them an email on my behalf too. LOL.

I'll be deleting it from mine when I get it. Going to need to price out wrap vs OEM replacement parts though. I'll likely start with the wrap as the OEM parts availability sounds scarce for now.

I had a Tacoma prior and now the Tundra. Both trucks I get home and am like 95% satisfied lol. There's always something to change.

Almost 4 months into ownership of my ‘22 MGM SR5 TRD OR. I had planned on deleting chrome immediately as I like the blacked out look. However, the chrome bumper caps and mustache have grown on me. I’m sure I’m in the minority but oh well. I really like the way it looks. It’s a nice balance. 9442E1D0-E590-4750-B750-7E9847ADB127.jpg

You are not alone…I bought all the parts to de-chrome (mustache and rear inserts as the rest were already blacked out) …but it’s been 3 month and I still haven’t made the change as I think it’s grown on me too.

Mine is the one in front…Blue at the back belong to a buddy.

I am liking the balance and realizing I don’t want a murdered out truck.

Maybe when I get the Pro (Heritage) grill I’ll make it happen

I have the chrome TRD offroad MGM that is blacked out everywhere except the toyota emblem , stache , and rear bumper ... thinking of getting the dark Chrome stache so there is a little contrast up front and matte black in the rear

I’m slowly thinking I like silver satin finish trim since putting on the Pro Grille. I’ve alternatively been wondering what it would look like if I could get the mustache, rear bumper panels, window trim, handles, etc. the same color as the limited fender flares. Or if I get most of those to match the Midnight Black paint, maybe I was also thinking I could try color matching all the emblems to the gray color as opposed to blacking then out.

oh the possibilities, so little money and so much time haha

I would prefer the body color but I don't care enough to spend money on tweaking it
