20170519_223308.jpg stock height with side steps. I have a baby on the way too. I also have a 80 year old mom that needs rides to the Dr or store. I also think stock height is a better ride for long trips. Lastly other than the occasional farm dirt road I'm on pavement.

I want a lift with different tire/wheels, just when I talk myself into it read another horror story on here. Like the VSC not working right/going off after install or re programming nightmares etc.

I know those are the exception but I have shitty luck and I don't have the time, patience or money to chase it.

The shift knob is from a 2016+ Tacoma TRD PRO. The boot is just a cheap, $10 boot from eBay. I picked the knob and boot up on eBay.

No lift, no level, stock tires. If all goes as planned it will not last that way behind the end of the year though

No lift or level on my 2018 Limited CM.

I am not a fan of lift kits because they raise the center of gravity and the truck is less stable going around corners and we have plenty of curvy roads in Missouri. A long time ago I had a K5 Blazer with a 3" lift and 35" tires, thought I had to have that stuff but then regretted putting it on because I didn't like the way the truck handled. Another reason is that my wife doesn't like it.

Same here. I have lifted and put bigger wheels and tires on every truck I've owned, except this one. It will not get any of that treatment. Don't get me wrong, I love the look of a lifted truck alot. I'm getting older, fixing to turn the big 40, and after awhile with a lifted truck, they just ride like shit. I love the way my Tundra rides now and will keep it that way.

We both turned the big 60 and don't feel like climbing up to get in the truck, I am 6'2" so I can just step in, my wife is 5'4" and uses the nerf bars and handle to get in easy. I guess as you get older comfort is a priority over the macho look.
Same with driving style, when I was in my 30's I did everything I could to prevent people from passing me and always tried to be the first to take off from a stop light. Nowadays I don't care and my wife and I laugh when we watch somebody drive that way. She often tells me "that was you". The exception would be when I drive my Chevelle but my wife usually don't ride in there with me. According to her it is to loud, to fast and I drive stupid.

Not going to lift it, I do have some rock warrior wheels, just waiting for the stock tires to wear out and I’ll put those on with some meatier tires.

Other mods: stubby, hood decal, and bd squadron fogs. Platinum door sill protectors and shifter surround.

I have 2018 headlights and harness for them that I need to put on, but I have this idiotic idea of opening them up and painting the “black chrome” black.

No lift & no plan to put one on, I'm well past the age where I need to show off. I added a Bakflip cover, some nerf bars for my wife. No other mods planned.
