Well, if you believe most DC owners, all crew cabs are soccer dad vehicles.

Im a tundra fan, but lets be honest, toyota is more likely to release a front wheel drive transaxle truck than a raptor/trx competitor.

Reliability is Toyota’s game

This is a seriously cool truck, though. Ram threw everything they had at it, no holds barred. I'm glad they went the off-road route, rather than an on-road truck like the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, or the old Ram SRT-10.

If I had $100k+ CAD to spend on one of these TRX's, I would seriously consider it.

 

And, for the love of Christ, one you NEVER buy used.

 

6.2L generally gets 2mpg less than 5.7L in their other vehicles. So assuming 2mpg less than standard Rebel wouldnt be out of the question.

 

Oh yeah, Ford and RAM killing it lately, wonder what, if anything, Toyota has up its sleeve

 

Entirely not surprising. Crewmax has more rear leg room than my LS430. The LS can hold some pretty tall people too.

Also I’m in the market for a crewmax

 

Would never buy any hellcat type of vehicle used. They’re driven exclusively by “great people”. But if a vehicle that’s been driven hard it’s whole life is someone’s thing then go for it.

Probably more likely to see a Tundra Prime than a large displacement blown V8 redesign.

 

Why the hell did Dodge put 2.5” By pass shocks, instead of 3” for 6,000 lbs truck. That really dumb. Raptor has 3” bypass shocks and weights less.

 

I didnt finish the whole video, i was getting too many urges to down red bulls. Im assuming they also include a real locking rear diff?

I agree but with 702 HP I will gladly spend a little more to fix it if I could afford this truck.

I dunno. Dodge might have some crappy parts, but my neighbors ram is 100 times nicer than my tundra

Not going to lie, Ram has my attention. Dear god 700hp supercharged V8 with functional hood scoop.

Pretty cool and I'm glad to see the truck game is stepping up but I'd still rather have my tundra built with a harrop supercharger than have one of those.

Why would they spend money on shocks when the people who are buying that kind of truck are never going to leave pavement with it anyway? And those that do are going to be upgrading. Saves them money.

 

Toyota didn’t advertise the Pro as a Raptor killer.

 

Fox IBP 3.0s only use a 2.5" piston, so they're not a true 3.0, since the TRX uses Bilsteins there's a chance the TRX and Raptor have the same damping capability.

 

Looks awesome, nice to see at least somebody knows we don’t all want twin turbos.
