This house is rolling down the highway at full speed. Love the new suspension. Handles the expansion joints and curvy highways with aplomb. I was confidently passing folks everywhere. Like a whole new truck maybe better than stock. Then I fit it into a Jeep trail and found an amazing camp. Will decide overnight if I’m going to continue on the trail in the am or look for smoother dirt roads. Glad to have choices. 15983F51-E37E-4673-AB9A-A9C5F8A6648A.jpgE14CC397-43D7-45ED-AB3C-FBDF9DA94664.jpg 99F24E84-75A5-4A23-B6B2-444B06B6753F.jpg

Yeah it poured on the way in. Thankful for the little camper and awning.

FWIW if UPS delivers and misses you they allow for a pick up at the local UPS facility. I usually dont even make an effort to be home for them and rather just pick it up at the UPS sort fac. nearby a couple days later.

Just a head's up, there's a price increase next week, October 1st, on all Dobinsons coils!!

Any orders placed until then will still get the current pricing. Don't forget to use coupon code "DOBS1953" on my website to get 5% off. All Tundra parts are here: https://exitoffroad.com/product-category/toyota/tundra

Shipping from the warehouse has been painfully slow, but they're telling me that today they'll finally be 100% caught up!!

The way this year is going, I'd say early 2021.

Parts that we thought would arrive in September aren't due until November, so everything is pushed it seems.

What are you running for shocks coils? Still stock? I did the full Dobinsons suspension w SPC control arms through MLO. I have a FWC Fleet on mine and airbags. Way better off-road. Still a little stiff and bed bounce on the highway, especially over highway joints. Wondering if I should take one leaf out and/or remove the airbags. Definitely feels better the more weight I have on it.

Think the coils are around 740 lbs and 55mm lift from Dobinsons. I love them. Also running without the camper in the heavy springs right now and the lift is a little much, but it corners like it’s on rails with the super stiff setup. I’m having fun with the cornering :)

Got everything ready for my install, looking at local shops to see if ill save my self the time. First quote is 1000 for install and alignment. I might just end up doing the install in the dirt at my house.

That's a pretty hefty labor quote!! Could be upcharging just because of how busy they might be.

Here's a little bit of Friday news for you guys. No news on the remote resi option yet, but the internal resi IMS shocks are on the way sooner than I thought. The rears are going to be here in about 3 weeks.

    https://exitoffroad.com/product/dobinsons-ims59-60711-ifp-rear-shocks-for-toyota-tundra-2007-2021/

Sold as a pair, now taking backorders.

Fronts aren't on the way yet, they just missed the shipment that left this week, so it should be the end of December or January for them to arrive. I'll update this page here as soon as I get word on it.

Thinking of getting a 1.75" Dobinson Lift Kit for my 2nd gen Sequioa.
Would that give enough clearance for 285/75 17s? (34") or would I be better off with 285/70 17s (33")
    Thanks!

I'd say better off with 33's. I haven't had a Sequoia myself before though and not sure what sort of spacing there is in the wheel wells for the bigger 34's.

I fit 295/70/18 with the 2.5" lift. +25 offset aftermarket wheels though. Had to remove the front mudflap and trim the rear mudflap on the front wheel well due to slight rubbing in reverse at full lock turning right.

Question for you all, I have an SSO slimline bumper and smittybilt x20. Adds about 100lbs extra to the front. Should I go with the 2.25” C59-778 stock weight or C59-610 added weight coils?

I don’t plan on leafs, as all I have is a diamondback cover and misc items in the bed. Will I regret this later?

I replied to your PM as well, but I think that's not much front weight, I'd say go with the 778's and you can skip the leaf springs for now. You can always get them later if you need more support or rear lift.

I’m thinking of getting the 2.25” kit with camburg UCA’s and using my RW wheels I’ve had stashed away. I was going to save up for the fox 2.5’s but this seems like a good alternative. My last tundra had 6112’s at 1.9 and 5160’s and it was ok.

I don’t think this setup is ever going to be King or Fox, but it does perform very well for the price imo. For what I do it’s perfect which is moderate off-roading mostly on the east coast, use it to control the load of my FWC, and stuffed some big tires under.F1A89EFB-A76B-40CD-BDE1-0A4EE0970013.jpg E5A5636A-3466-48AE-AD7E-191634488A07.jpg

I've got a 08 Sequoia which I put Dobinsons +1.75 springs in the back and a 2" leveling kit (top of strut style) and I've got 275/65/20's on it which are 34.1" and there is no rubbing at all.

@ejl04 Do you have the medium or HD springs?
I am considering doing the DOB 2.25” kit And SPC UCA, install through MLO. Just bought a stock TRD Off-Road, looking to do a one and done suspension upgrade for my needs:

-my constant load=Leitner ACS w/accessories + Decked system +150-200lbs gear (so about 500lbs)
-occasional loads=heavy farm stuff in bed (~+500lbs)/various trailers (3-5k lbs

For reference I don’t mind a some stiffness on the pavement if it performs well under load. The stock suspension feels absurdly soft to me as I’m used to driving 3/4 and 1 tons.

I am still on the fence whether to go with the medium or HD springs....any regrets with either option?
