Did you get their leaf packs for the rear? If so which ones.

i was setup to get the rear springs but didnt want the rake so they kept the stock setup in the rear. I do have firestone airbags and tow a toy hauler and car trailer, and didnt want to get to high in the rear. The heavy front springs in the front with the bumper brought it level. The ride is stiffer then stock but rides great. two weeks in and im happy with my decision..

So any updates from those that have installed the Dobinsons suspension at either height? Im highly considering going this route within the next month or so.

    I love the suspension.
Think personally would have done the longer coils to accommodate future front end additions and 35” tires.

Sweet what all did you get? Installing yourself? You’ll love the blue coils, very unique and stands out in a subtle way.

If you are getting the 3" springs do yourself a favor and buy the front coilovers fully assembled with new strut mounts. I tried this past weekend to get these in a failed, the rental spring compressors won't fit between the coils and the method of dropping the lower control arm and jacking it up to compress the spring won't work with the 3" springs. I dropped them off this morning to Cruiser Outfitters and they are going to assemble for me.

Currently running 275/70/18..will most likely go with a 295/70/18 when these wear out.. less than a year old on my current tires. Then again i havnt installed my new set up yet, it just shipped today.

3" springs, struts and shocks and KYB top hats. Also have some icon UCAs to install. Already have a 1 inch block in the rear. I just hate compressing truck springs

I don’t think you will have any luck with those type of spring compressors. Cost me $80 to have them assembled and it was well worth it.

I ended up ordering some MEVOTECH / SPC upper control arms from Rock Auto, there is not much space between the spring and inside of the arm. It doesn’t hit the stock arm but for me it’s uncomfortably close, also my upper ball joints lost all the grease on both sides so was probably time for something new anyway.

I wanted to try some other brand UCA but the price for these from Rock Auto is just unbeatable, $452 shipped.

Yep the little arms are too big to fit between the coils on the 3 inch springs.

Is the 2" kit a stiffer spring rate? On the kit online its listed as "C59-610 2" Bumper and Winch (220lb)". I'm running the stock bumper and didnt' want a 3" lift nor a overly stiff ride from springs made for a heavier front end.

Send Mike with Dobinson an email. I've been running Dobinson's in my 4runner for a couple years now and have been extremely happy with them. Mike helped me get everything set up the way I wanted.

Here is what I've found with the 3" so far, its firm. When you put a jack under the control arm to lift up the truck the tire almost immediately comes off the ground, there really isn't much compression of the coilover. I haven't driven it much since I'm still waiting on the UCAs and to get the rear installed but I drove it around the block, I fell like I'm going to need add some weight up front from a bumper and winch.

Welp!!! I planned on installing my set up today, BUT i got sent the wrong top hats..the new ones are suppose to be here Monday. It’ll probably be Tuesday or Wednesday before i am able to install everything. I ordered some Zone uca’s after @ckkone said the uca was super close to the coilover. Still no word when my shackles will be here, i’ll call the company tomorrow and see if i can find out.
