Awesome! I’d like to see if there is still rake after all said and done. I plan to get a A.R.E cap installed as well.

OP nice write up! I got up close to a Dobinsons suspension @ the Overland Expo East last year (GX470). I had done my Eibach setup before knowing anything about the other Aussie option (besides OME). It would be first on my list if doing it over....looking good :hattip:. Any of you running Dobinsons notice improved washboard compliance?

It increased my speed about 10mph on washboard surfaces. Very comfortable on rough roads.

So I have not picked it up but here are pics from the guys at Mainline OL who did the install. I am very happy with the photos and can’t wait to pick it up tomorrow. I will let everyone know how it is. They ended up putting a 1 inch block in rear to compensate for a bit of rake. I need to get rid of the evo corse stickers on the wheels as well. :eek2: truck looks great man, how much did everything cost? I'm planning on putting my tax return into my lift and just trying to find the best bang for my buck and a good installer. Mainline is about 2 hours away from me which kinda sucks but if they can do it for the right price then I'd gladly make the drive

    Here is everything I bought.

Dobinson 2.25" Suspension Kit with upgraded coils to C59-578 (3" of lift) https://www.mainlineoverland.com/products/dobinsons-2-25-lift-kit-toyota-tundra-2007-present
    SPC UCAs
EVO Corse Dakar Zero 17" x 8" Toyota
Tundra, Land Cruiser 200 Series ET: 40
    BFG KO2s 35x12.5

The EVO Corse wheels are rated to 1,400 KGs a piece and are very good at low pressure as well. The fitment is for the Tundra/200 series LC. Here is a link for more info on the wheels: https://www.mainlineoverland.com/co...-8-toyota-tundra-land-cruiser-200-series-et-0

Hope this helps. Highly recommend the guys at MLO. Very knowledgeable and did not feel like I was getting oversold on something that I am not going to need for my use here in the Northeast.

What tires and rims did you do? (See your answer, looks great!)

Had my installer check the bolts today after the possible metallic sound and he said everything was tight as it should be. Gonna listen out for it, but haven’t recreated it. Possibly a noise from another area misinterpreted.

Strongly considering 295/70r18 upgrade here soon. Between Ridge Grappler and Geolandar x-at. Falken 295 are sold out until summer!

I got the suspension when it was on sale after Thanksgiving and want to say I paid $1140 for it. The evo corse wheels are not cheap but they are bulletproof. I paid $309 each but I think they are $349 normally. I also had to wait 6-weeks for them to come from the factory in Italy. UCAs were $640 (not 100% required but allow for correct alignment and tire wear). Tires were $280 each. So all in materials were ~$4300+ labor to install and laser alignment. All in ~$5,500. You can do it cheaper with cheaper wheels and tires but I like the evocorse wheels. Good luck.

Picked up the truck today. Very happy with it. Got every bit of 3 inches. In fact, with the evo corse wheels I got away with no body mount chop. I won’t get on many trails over next couple of months, but will keep the forum posted as I start getting out. I will say the height is higher than I expected and definitely need some sliders or amp research steps! Anyone have any experience with AMP?

How is the bed access after the lift? Also any first impressions on ride comfort?

Looks good! Maybe consider sliders since it may be convenient depending on the situation to use your sliders as a jacking point with a hi-lift. I bought the RCIoffroad ones recently and they’re great

Thanks. Definitely looking for something to serve as protection but also a step. Are the RCI ones functional as a step as well?

I had dobinsons on my 4Runner and they were awesome! Great ride and no issues at all to report. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Thanks. Look sweet. Not sure where you are, but do you find that they get snow caked on them if in a place with snow? What about mud on the trails? Thanks.

I’m in southeast Virginia. I literally had them for a week lol. No snow down here yet either. I’d image with the top plates that snow and mud would build up but nothing you can’t stomp off. Or if you don’t have kids with small feet don’t get the top plate option.

So of course I forgot to measure my stock height but just measured it post lift. It is approximately 26.5" from center of Hub in front and 28" in rear. I have read that stock is 21.5-22 in front and 24-24.5 in rear. This suggests somewhere between 3.5-4" of lift from suspension. They did put a 1 inch block in rear to keep it level. Got to drive it a bit today and love it. Drives great and although higher it handles awesome. No sway or tip at all... very solid. I will post a few more pics soon.

Debating between the RCI and Victory 4x4 sliders/steps. Anyone else using Victory? I like both and both seem to be well built.

Dobinson is good stuff from what I hear. If I wasn’t doing LT I’d be using them. Ride is nicer compared to say Eibach
