I did and many Jeepers said they ride frim/harsh and wish they would have gone with something else. I think Falcon look great and debated on getting them before my Dobinson. I didn't wants a firm ride and that's why I didn't go with Bilstein, OME or Falcon. Anyway this is a Dobinson thread so....

When I ordered mine the teal were out of stock and I was given the choice of black or red.

I just added the color notes on my website today. The problem is that there's 4 different front coils and they're not all in stock in all 3 colors, so some people get set on a specific color then disappointed when they're not in stock.

The different colors only just arrived about a week ago

Anyway, when you order now you select the color then I'll let you know if they're not in stock and what is.

Mike, I didn't see the option for coil colors just a few minutes ago. Am I missing something?
I'd prefer red with the 1.75" IMS full kit on a 1st gen Sequoia.

The colors are an option on Tundra's (Tundra thread here). There's only one choice on 1st and 2nd Gen Sequoias.

Great, thanks man. I'm definitely not dead set on any color, just nice to have options.

I just got black springs. I’m more interested in how they perform than showing any one color. Can’t wait to get them on

The body is 12.5 in long. Not including the eyelet/stem mount at the bottom

@crikeymike are the shock boots supposed to go on with the front struts? The OD of the shock boot is larger than the ID of the coil springs so they just kinda sit inside of the coils all mashed up.

Pretty sure those are for the back.

If you want something for the front probably use one of those shock sock things

The backs came with boots too. The boots fit the front shocks correctly but get bound up inside the coil once you install them

Got my IMS setup installed up front now. New JBA UCA's and new LCA's and SPC alignment cams. Took off my front sway bar too.

I'll try to get an alignment tomorrow. I went for a spin tonight and I love the ride. Stiff but in a good way. Soaks up bumps very nice. Very controlled and I like the way my truck behaves while braking now.

I bought the truck with stock coils/struts and a spacer lift. Glad to be rid of that setup. Technically I'm over spring right now as I don't have my winch installed at the moment but I still love the way the ride feels.

I'll post again after I get an alignment and hit a trail or two.

I measured the Falcons and they are 14” Dobinson still has more of an over all internal volume not taking into account internal components.

What are you trying figure out by looking at internal volumes?

Not sure if serious but the answer would be Thermodynamics. Since heat has an impact on shock performance and oil capacity has an impact on heat the internal volume of the shock has a role in overall performance to a point.

If that’s a big concern for you then IFP is not for you. Reservoirs move the IFP out of the main body and into the reservoir, which has a far more dramatic impact on heat.

Not a big concern just comparing a new product to what is out there.

Correct but about 1.5” longer in the body and the rears have a piggy back reservoir.

Are the eibach pro lift coils the correct configuration to run with these struts? They’re supposed to raise the truck 2.5-3” but are half the price of the Dobinsons coils. @crikeymike whats your take on this? Are the eibach coils and ims struts compatible? Thanks!

I don't know, never tried them. Wonder why they're half the price?

Couldn't tell you..I know that the Eibach kit is typically highly regarded, and their springs are used in many high end coilovers. They're definitely not as colorful as the Dobinsons...

I just put Eibach on my stock TRD shocks, they fit perfectly and ride A LOT better than the stock springs. It looks like they will fit the Dobs since they are they are they same profile, but will they match well with the shock? Who knows..
