What’s the general thought on these shocks but stock rear leaf pack left in?

If I wanted to achieve 3 inches of lift in the front, what clip height would it be set to, and could I still use a shim to correct the Toyota lean?

It is possible to use lift coils with the Falcons? I have a set of Eibach springs to use if it works.

Also, should I get the HD 3” springs or the regular 3”. I have a 78lb ADD front bumper on with light bar and RCI skids. And are the front and rear in stock? I just purchased the rears.

They specifically tell you not to if you ask them.
I would presume it may not play nicely with the ZRT (internal progressive bump stop for down travel).
Probably same goes for the up travel bump stop.
They also said they have no plans for a full coilover assembly where you don’t reuse the factory spring and top hats.
So I guess they feel they have it dialed in pretty well.

Likely just fine like all the other kits if your use requires no need for something other than the stock leaf pack.
They sell everything separate without indicating one would need an aftermarket leaf.

Lowest/stock clip height setting, then add 3" coils.

Yep that's right, the Dobinsons IMS front and rear can be used with stock coils/leafs or lifted parts.

If you select strut assembly is it the $90 one or the $180 one? Also which top plate for a 3rd gen tundra? Didn't see it in there.

If one were to use stock coils am I understanding correctly a maximum of only 1.18” of lift can be obtained.

@crikeymike Unrelated to the topic, but curious if Dobinsons is going to offer a Tundra equivalent
of the Part# L59-112-R Super Heavy Load (for 800lbs). Those things were awesome on my 16'!

Whats the + rating for the L59-121-R thanks

It hasn't come up so far, no one has needed heavier than these. They're rated to be run with a minimum of 400LBS of constant load, but there's no max rating. More weight equals less lift, and GVM shouldn't be exceeded

Tundra's with a flat bed conversion and 4 Wheel Camper are running them no problem, like "Bound For Adventure" on IG and Youtube.

For anyone on the fence, Mike at ExitOffroad is a real professional. Customer service is great. I would not hesitate to buy Dobinson's from him.

Do you have the spring rate on the non HD version of the 3 inch springs, and what weight they're rated to?

662LBF/IN. They're rated for 3" lift with no front weight

    Thanks!

with 1.75" of lift in the rear being provided by CB shackles, and 90lb front bumper ADD Stealthfighter, what lift height would you recommend in the front to maintain an inch of rake?

    3"

Usually you lift the rear 1" less than the front to keep 1" of rake.

@crikeymike Looking to upgrade the stock suspension on my 04 Sequoia. It won't see high speed off road, but definitely some decent trails. Would like to maintain on road performance too as it'll be a daily driver.

Would you mind giving a first hand opinion on these two setups?

Probably the twin tube setup is all you'd need if you're not going hard offroad. The IMS will ride better in all conditions due to their biggest piston size and IFP, but it depends if you want to spend the extra $500 for the better struts/shocks. It's kind of like all terrain vs mud terrain, one can do everything, but the mud terrains are better in the mud. That's the best analogy I've come up with on TT vs IMS. You wouldn't buy mud terrains if you don't go in the mud, but maybe you will branch out and want to get dirty? hahah

Appreciate it! Great analogy, so it's 1.75 inches of lift front and back correct?

Do you guys have a forum discount or promo code going?
I missed out on the 15% black Friday.
    Thanks!
