I don't let the dealer wash my truck, but it's not out of concern for any extra paint marks. Where I take my truck, I get plenty of brush pinstripes so some car wash swirls would be nothing. I don't let them do it because I've already had to sit in the waiting room for two hours just for minor service and I'm not about to wait another 1-1/2 hours while my truck slowly makes its way up the wash line. I either take it to a handjob place or do it myself. Wait, did that come out right...?

the dealer washed my truck at the first 5000 mile service. The wash machine ripped off my front license plate an either the machine or an employee put a large dent over the rear wheel well.
