I like the old traditional folding pocket knives and i use mine as one of my every day tools.

Boker Solingen German, Tree brand Classic Wood 240 Stockman Knife. Almost 40 years old, give or take a few.

 

Benchmade gold class MIKE Norris crazy lace limited run of 160. Yes I carry a $1200 pocket knife didn't buy for a display!

That sounds like a serious knife. For that price tag it better know karate.

Damascus steal is awesome and definitely a labour intensive process.

Bought this one as a groomsmen gift. Liked it so much I bought one for myself. Basically AUS-8 blade seems to hold well, build quality has posed no issues, assisted open, US made, and lifetime warranty.

I have all of my grandfather's (fathers father) old pocket knives. Mostly yellow handled case knives. Will give them to my son one day.

In addition, I have given my son a new case xx knife for every birthday and most christmases.

I carry my SOG cash card as my EDC. It is super thin and light, but works like it should. It is easy to forget you are wearing it because it’s such a minimalist design.

 

Theres just something about those traditional type knives.

I definitely envy you because i would love to have done a better job of holding on to the knives that had been passed to me.

I take pix with my phone, then upload a file (middle tab below) then find and select the picture location on your phone the choose full size or thumbnail image.

 

I just got this one yesterday. It’s a cheapy, but Buckshot makes decent knives for around twenty bucks. The only issue is they come dull as hell, so I have to put some work in.

Thank you for the replies. It is a custom knife bencmade sourced the Mike Norris Damasus ss steel and built only 160 of them. If you goolge Mike Norris will find he's a world class knife maker.

 

I must say, that is a mighty fine knife.
And Damascus steel just looks badass.
