DIY: Unistrut Bed Rails - Cheaper option than OEM

    Great thread!

    Any thoughts on how one would go about adding a second rail near the bottom of the bed, so there would be top and bottom rails?

    Love the unistrut write up's! I'm curious on how the screws are secured on the other side? I imagine there has to be a lock washer and nut on the other side of the bed (body panel side) holding the unistrut in place? If so, how did you all reach up to grab the other end?

    There are already threaded holes in the bed for the factory rail system. This picture shows the relative location on a double cab.

    I have a spray in bed liner on mine and didn't even see them. So I felt through the liner and found them. Thank you!
