I would like to thank everybody that contributed to this post!
Fog lights are now installed and I'm very happy! Much brighter than the stock ones!
    Thanks again!

I’m Finally doing this install after having the parts for months. Is there a little gap around the housing and the light? Like 1/8 of an inch? I thought it was going to be a snug fit?

I bet if the light was removed, cover installed - the light would fit back into place. Just a guess based off the side clearance I see on pictures posted

You need to pry those clips very carefully to release them and don't force them.
Pry them as pictured and slowly pull the liner out.

The liner and the fender clip are 2 different parts.
You can see at the top and bottom of the clip how much plastic goes into that hole and that is what prevents you from pulling it out.
Work it gently, otherwise you'll end up needing to buy 2 of the fender clips, like many of us have..

If you do need to buy them, check your part numbers.
There are 2 different parts number for truck with or without the off road package.
Part # 16 in this diagram.

    VERY helpful, thank you.
I just pulled one side and after wriggling and looking at things from the inside and up past the tow hook I tried another method. Reach in from behind and gently hold/lift the little tabs(I worked from top to bottom and there are three, two are marked with red arrows) while carefully pulling the panel sideways, towards the inboard on the vehicle and down. It literally fell out of position while leaving that fender liner seal in position.
Here's a couple of pics that might help others and explain how I removed them.

Lol, the trucks less than a month old and last couple weeks were spent doing a fluid film/cosmoline treatment followed by Cquartz UK ceramic coating anywhere it would stick before she hits the dirt. Basically went over every nut and bolt I could reach with rust preventative as they pour the frigging brine on roads around here at the slightest hint of frost.

Hate to bump an old thread but Specialty Performance has the clear lights for 50% off right now, I'm gathering the parts to do the DIY and wanted to share.

Looks like they got wise and raised the price slightly. Probably due to popularity. I got in at $149 which was easy to justify.

I am in the mood to upgrade my fogs. I have about decided to go with Diode Dynamics Pro Ambers. Does anyone have any experience on how the DD stack up against these Rigid SAE D pods?
