Thanks for the post. Finally got mine installed tonight, they are killer!! I was thinking rx350 retro over my current 2018 headlight for some more output. But now after installing the Rigid fogs, I'm good with the 2018 LED headlights!

Does anyone have a comparison to the 2018/2019 factory LED fog lights? They look nice but how much more light do you get with normal street driving. Seeing if it's worth it on my 2019 Platinum.

Are you wanting a comparison to the Rigid Trd Pro fogs or the Rigid SAE?
Either option will be a big improvement.
I have had ran several different fog options: OEM halogens / Morimoto XB's / HID's / OEM LED's
I have been very dis-appointed with the OEM LED fog lighting output.
IMO they seem even less effective than the older halogens.

I just did this on my truck, I had 2018 Led headlights and led fogs and I have to say, they are amazing. The light output on these rigid D-series( I have the diffused lens) is about 10 times more than the stock led fog. Basically I can run them without the headlights and still see the road perfectly and not blinding oncoming traffic.

    Looks good!

I think though the lense you have is the SAE, not the diffused.

Sorry for that one, you are right. Mine are the SAE compliant.

Pretty straight forward install like the others using the bracket? Do you remember what dimensions you used? I have my bezels on order.

I had a friend of mine fab the brackets, he owns a steel company and I used structural grade aluminum for my brackets and had them CNC'd. The structural aluminum has the Arch at the L part of the bracket that makes it stronger at that point instead of bent or welded aluminum that is weaker at the bend and will prob shake a little.
    Structural grade Aluminum

    Regular Aluminum
    everbilt-bar-flats-tubes-rods-802637-e1_1000.jpg
You can see the difference at the bend.
I also did my own connectors. I'm a telecom engineer so I get access and am pretty handy with all this kind of stuff. I'm trying to get my friend to do this for other members here since I already did the difficult part (the template for the CNC machine). I'll be posting later what he can do for us with the brackets and the connectors if it is cost effective or not. :notsure:

Thanks. I would be interested in the brackets. I’m sure others would be too.

    I already have connectors.

    I appreciate the quick response.

That’s basically my experience, I honestly don’t need lowbeams with these on, they light up a wider area from below just as bright. And I’m sure in traffic, people with lower vehicles appreciate I’m not blinding them or their mirrors.

I’m glad I bought Rigid 504813’s and not some other SAE compliant square light. Output is top notch.

These are the $4 brackets and hardware I got from Lowe’s, I basically cut one side in half, marked and drilled new holes. Not a perfectly clean job as above but it’s all hidden anyway. They are thick and bolted like OP’s, no vibration. Sorry, I don’t have pics after I modded the brackets. However, I was OCD in the cubes’ symmetry, how much they stick out through the bezels and matching vertical/horizontal axis of the light output against a wall on both.

Does any one have pics of these fogs at night? Looking to see a comparison of HL vs HL+fog.

Are yours the TRD ones or different Rigid. I’m just going to drop the coin and order all the factory OEM TRD parts for the fog lights. Same light output?

These are not the same TRD ones, you just use the TRD Pro Bezels and put whatever Rigid D-series light you want. Any Rigid D-series will have way more light output than the TRD Pro ones. Just so you get an idea I have the SAE compliant D-series, which are the ones with the least light output(1750 lumens I think), and illuminate way more than my friends Rigid TRD Pro fogs.

@Neshra54 how did you get no gap between the bezel and the fog light? Atleast that’s what it looks like no gap. I bought the exact same setup and mine has gap very little but it has

Is there enough room to put a lens cover on those and clear the bezels? I'd want to run an amber/yellow lens on it.

Excuse the soapy water, not enough space between the Rigid and the OEM bezel to accommodate the cover.

Ridgid just came out with Amber fogs. The amber lens reduces the output by a good amount, as shown with data in the below thread

Here is an excellent read on the fogs with legit data, and not just a bunch of internet know it all's!!:

I am pretty sure he is a headlight design engineer. methodical, data driven, and extremely familiar with fog light SAE requirements.
He has published a lot of great information on lighting for tacomas on tacomaworld.

Do the factory Rigid fogs blind traffic as well, or are they differently patterned?

Anyone know if the trd pro bezels will fit a 2014 Tundra - non-TRD?
