Oh my.....that's a light?!? LOL Had to wait till night to find it. But you're right...there's this tiny little thing that seems to have a sole purpose of lighting the parking brake pedal. All righty, I can fix that!!

Are y'all pig tailing all four sets thru the small drivers foot well light? ( driver, front pax and the two back seats). My wife's 15 1794 does not have a front pax foot well light.

I'm thinking of putting a light in the center console as well. Would like it to turn on when opened. I'll have to think about what type of switch to employ.

I used the metal arm that is attached to the lid to ground the 2 led strips negative wire and the positive to a constant 12v source (my always on Dual USB charger).

Ok so I’m late to the tundra game...just got one a month ago and I just tried installing the led strips I couldn’t get them to come on....I tested the lights after soldering on some wires and they came in but when I connected it in the truck it didn’t work any suggestions?

Had them in 2 of my camaros. Cobalt blue. Had it set up so u can do it with doors, on all the time, or off all the time. Really cool look. My tundra has all lights inside changed 2 blue left's. Haven't done strips under dash or back seats yet. If I did do it does anybody know if I should also put under rear seats as well 2 give whole inside an even lighting?

I don't have a footwell light in my SR, but want to add this mod. Where is the best place to find wires to tap into?

The cargo light wire. Its found on the drivers side, under that black trim in the doorway. I think its called the scuff plate. Wire color differs from year to year I believe.
Lights will come in when truck is unlocked with remote, when door is open, or when cargo light is switched on. This is what I did based on recommendation from @NewImprovedRon

My pic is in previous post ^^^^^ those lights are mounted under the front seats facing backwards. Works well, theres no good place under rear seats to mount. Lights for front are mounted under the dash

@TundraTex to remove the piece below the hvac controls, where you recommend placing frac switches on the ledge on platinums, do I just pull the shifter surround, then the trim that goes from center console arm rest area? Then I can get to that "ledge" piece? I wanna stick an LED bolt light there to illuminate my front most cupholder/usb aux port area. That part of the video with @4x4_Angel goes pretty quick and I dont wanna miss something.

You can remove it with just the shifter removed, but the cup holder and center console top are also just clipped in and removing those will give you a little better access. A curved panel removal tool to assist, will help either way.

For those of you who are able to put these lights where you can switch them on and off even while driving, how are you doing it? I understand attaching them to the well light on drivers side will make them come on when door is open, but I would like to be able to run them while i'm driving as well. @Leslatimer

Attach them to the cargo lamp wire instead if the footwell. That way you can turn them on. Just be aware the cargo light will also come on.
The dome wire would be the best solution for you but no one seems to be able to find that wire to tap into. Your other option would be hard wiring from an add a fuse and adding a switch

When you say hardwire, you mean coming straight from the battery? Sorry I'm pretty noob when it comes to electricity, I have a light understanding at best (no pun intended lol).
