Has anyone done this WITHOUT the headlight switch having to be on at all? I bought some aftermarket headlights and the driving lights dim when I turn the switch on in any way. I had the simple ground to body mod but I still have to have the switch on the headlight which dims my driving lights and annoys me because I want the full brightness of the driving lights and the fog lights on. Anyone!?

I don't have DRL nor the OEM stalk, ran a switch to wire bypassing the body control module.

Look here. It's on anytime the lights are on any setting, and the new switch is on.

Hey I'm new here, hope this is the right thread. I got diode dynamics ss3 pro fog lights ordered and want to use them with my high beams, which mod should I use? 2010 sequoia limited. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Does this work on a 2017?

For those of you who have done this mod and live in a state like mine where fogs are required to turn OFF with HIGH beams in order to pass vehicle inspection: do you have to remove the mod before having your truck inspected, or do you just 'know a guy' that will pass it anyway?

I've been looking at these various fog light behavior mods and have been trying to come up with a way to enable them (with stock fog light switch) when parking lights are on, but turning off for high beams. The best way that I can see to do this is possibly using an existing mod method (E.g. "Eddie's") and then adding another relay to disable the mod when the high beams are active.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
