I tried aiming mine all the way down with the wide cornering lens. Drove around a bit to test it out tonight and it still has too much glare, blinding drivers ahead of me. So I just adjusted it the same level as my headlights which is pretty level. This is how the output looks with it almost leveled out.

Happy with these lights as they are bright as hell but just wanted to give my opinion if anyone is planning on driving around with these in the streets, you will be blinding people.

i just hit "submit" on my cart full of items. I don't have a ton of people in my way so i'm probably good, plus i am so not impressed with the useless fogs i have down there. i get the idea "they're for others to see you better" but guess what...almost $200 blown and they can probably see my headlights well before my fogs. With the addition of these i've already committed to giving my a-pillar mounts and Rigid pods to a friend.

Agreed! I'm not on the fence about that mindset. It's ok that you didnt order me any, I wasn't doing anything else with that money

I'm pretty sure once I have this piece in place I can be done for a while....or until I put together the money for retros:)

I installed them during the day, in a rush, while watching the kids. It seemed to me while I was mounting them that there wasn't much room for adjustment, so I "centered" them as best I could. I checked them at night but not up against a building. They seemed fine so I didn't look much further.

Were you able to adjust them much?

There isn't that much adjustment. If they were spots, you would see more of a difference but since we are running the wide cornering, it doesn't matter as much. I got a little more range since I lifted it up a bit but looking at your pictures, they look like they are already looking up and not down so you should be fine. Just like you summarized, this will be more for when there are no vehicles around me. I might try the combo lense just to see what kind of beam pattern it puts out.

Just my opinion but I wouldn't. More like these when nothing is oncoming or during heavy snow/fog.

@nowayout its not the lumens but the light control. Anything you want to run on the streets has to have a cutoff which these lights don't. Look into the RIGID dot compliant lights or Morimoto XB's if you want to run them on the streets.

Got them today and slapped them in referenced this thread several times. One thing nobody mentioned was these little blue clips! They had me wound up for a while light bulb went off and decided to tug on one and the for light housing decided to play ball. If you have a 16 these may be present.

They look great! Those blue clips don't exist on a 2014, interesting!

What do you think of the lights?

I could not figure out why the housing wouldent come out!. I like them so far. Waiting for dark to see the beam on them. Only thing that I don't like is that if someone wanted to steal them they pop right out. I have some GTR led headlight bulbs I'm putting in tomorrow. I'm gonna try and figure out a way to secure the fogs better. Maybe some zip ties?

I was able to put those blue clips back in when I took the front end off to put my headlights in. They are located in the bottom inside corner closest to the center of the grill on the 16 pro. Pretty much exactly where you zip tied. You are a ninja for being able too get a pic from the inside like that haha.

I finally got around to installing the filler bezels. What a huge difference, it looks so much better now!
While I was at it, I borrowed @BlueBottle 's zip tie idea. That should fix the minor shake I had in the driver's side light.

Only if your fog surround is lose. If your fog surround is in good condition then no. People forcing it out without releasing the clips cause that to get lose.

So to answer your question is no the Baja fogs don’t shake. It would be your fog surround that shakes if any.

They are as secure as your OEM fogs, as they firmly mount to the OEM fog surround.

You just have to make sure your fog surround is popped back in properly.

    Mine are good to go.
