Big thing is dampening characteristics. Icon digressive, King progressive. Elka no clue but guessing progressive.

Best thing yo do is find someone local with your final 2 choices and do a ride along.

I've had 4 different set ups but nothing to brag about. Only what I can afford . I just really wish I could afford a better suspension

I’m on the coast 30 min south of sf. Ah it’s all a money pit to be honest lol. Like just set it up for what your looking to do. Like for me I did fox cause it was rated better on road then most. I could do a 2.0 in the rear till I could afford what I’m doing now. But fox doesn’t have a triple bypass that would work without me cutting my bed and I don’t want to go that route. Keep in mind guys did a lot 15-20 years ago with way less. This is also a business for people. Look at overlanding “rich people camping” rigs and crap is like 150k when ur done with all the latest junk. You need a tent 4wd something to cook off and a cooler. Sometimes I see this stuff and think it’s the fast and furious of 4x4. Don’t get to hung up and the perfect parts just enjoy. There is a class in Hollister hills for emergency off road and recovery it would blow your mind what they do with stock rigs and where they go. I would look into taking it super cool stuff
