That's a fair price considering the install labor/re-programming/test drive/possible more programming, adjustments, etc.( You might ask them to top off the tank. heh heh) :headbang:

That would be very helpful for those that are considering (or dreaming) about getting a supercharger.

Not entirely true. Magnuson Products makes all TRD superchargers and Magnuson exclusively uses Eaton technology in their superchargers.

    $3100 for the charger
    $2600 for the fit kit
15 hours labor at $100 an hour.

yep bank account is running low from it..
It's still Eaton its just outsourced. Done everyday in the auto industry. All the bearings and so on in the rebuild kits are Eaton not mag.

Mag is nothing but middle man.

I recall a Tundra HQ article talking about the Magnuson/TRD partnership to have Magnuson manufacture the Tundra SC using the Eaton TVS 1900 (twin vortice) technology that was licensed from Eaton. It''s better explained in on Magnuson's web site.

I don't think Magnuson lists the Tundra SC for sale on their site because of the licensing agreement with Toyota. If that goes away then maybe Magnuson can legally sell the SC for a lot less. I am only postulating on this. (hoping is a better word) Plus Eaton would certainly have a say in this. Their technology.

Probably not. Problem is the molds for the intake are owned by toyota for 7 years I beleive, do to patents and or design patents. Alot of legal issues to be had here.

Picked it up today and all I can say is WOW!! Plenty of power and as a added bonus my gas mileage went from maybe 15mpg at best to 17.5mpg. I hand calculated it so it's true. Awesome!
The Unichip definitely works with a FFV.
