Keith said the resonator should clear a 35” spare. I had same concerns. :fingerscrossed:

    It's here.

Install tomorrow. Got permission to use a bay in the shop at work. Hopefully, by this time tomorrow she'll have the exhaust, RCI rock sliders, and RCI skids on. :yay:

I'm getting ready to install mine, and it feels really light. Really hoping I didn't get alumininized instead of SS. How heavy was yours?

@dirtydeeds how heavy should the stainless be vs the aluminized?

I’m 99% sure I ordered stainless steel. Is this a different type of stainless steel? Or did I receive the wrong exhaust?

Also the hangers were a biatch. Took me practically bench pressing the exhaust to get one of the hangers hooked. Thank god I had help.

Ended up feeling fine this morning. Came home with mine. 45 minutes start to finish including removing the tail pipe, drilling, and installing the resonator. Started and revved it once before I had to go in and take care of kids. Cant wait to drive it.

    Glad you are feeling better!
I haven't done the resonator yet, but I am thinking I might have to. I want to get a bit of freeway driving in first to see if I have to. Might do it anyway, cuz I see some water leaking from the rear joint with the tailpipe. If I have to take that apart to get a better seal then I may as well pop the pipe off and install the resonator.

It's painted with heat resistant black paint (I'm pretty sure). Extra layer of rust resistance. I think everyone's came black.

In my opinion, the resonator is worth the trouble and kills every bit of drone. All there is to it is pop the resonator on, arrange it on your tail pipe where you want it and angled correctly, then mark it with a sharpie. I pulled the tail pipe section off the hanger and moved the section to the ground to make the hole cut easier. Took a 2" hole saw and some wd40 to spray on the hole saw blade while I made the cut. Go slow and there is nothing to it. Cut took less than 5 min. Pop the tail pipe back on the truck, pop the resonator over the hole, bolt it down and your good to go.

Yeah, I watched the video, but I figure I will wait until I have access to the lift in the shop. Laying on the cold concrete did a number on my back and knees. (that's what she said)

Yeah I'm not sure why people are not removing the rear section to cut the hole. Sooo much easier. Just one hanger once you already have the clamp off. I know people struggle with the hangers. I put dish soap on the original hangers then used a large open ended wrench to pry them off. Easy as pie.

I think I was around 100 something as well. Patiently waiting. I just hadn’t heard any updates on here in a little while. Thankful for a great deal on a great exhaust system!

I was probably one of the last ones, Keith called me back several days after the end of the month. If I get mine and you’re still waiting then you can worry :). I want to say he thought it’d be towards end of November for mine, I wasn’t in a hurry so really wasn’t paying attention to that. Excited to get it though.
