Maybe this is a dumb question. But do you just place the order at full price and then its discounted after? How exactly to you get on this group buy.

Performance is the same, since they're just different muffler size. I loved my 8", but it was aggressive. If you're a little green about exhausts, I would suggest a 10". But you can always call Keith and tell him what you're looking for and he can provide the best recommendation.

What do you mean by initial cost? The initial cost will be the deposit when you call and reserve your slot, the remainder would be due when the Group Buy is over, on 9/30. I have no idea how many orders are going to end up on this one, but it wouldn't surprise me if we got 100 or more. 100 orders would be $200 off, plus the initial $75 off the top, bringing it to $275 off each exhaust.

I would say you could find someone to install it, but it would be a waste of money. I'm not mechanically inclined either, but I got it done in less than an hour. It's literally just 5 screws you remove, then put back on. @dirtydeeds has a video that he has uploaded where he does it blind folded.:rofl:

Just give Keith a shout, and he takes a non-refundable deposit down. Once he does that, it reserves your spot and he can keep track of how many we have in the Group Buy. Once it's over, he would just contact you for the remainder of the payment for your exhaust.

In my experience with the last Group Buy, this thing EXPLODED at the end because every exhaust ordered added another $2 discount for everyone, so they saw the discount just jumping through the roof. Keith will keep up with us on how many orders have been placed, so as to keep us in the loop where the discount is at.

I called and he had me put 50% down of the total system which included the $75 off. Once the dust settles and orders are all made then he'll knock $2 per order and you pay the difference.

I have the same question but people seem to misunderstand.

Can I buy now, at full price, but as part of the group buy and get refunded the difference once the numbers are settled. I'd prefer to install it now while it is warm.

My guess is no. @dirtydeeds is able to offer this discount because when a lot of people order, he can get some price break on a bulk order of metal. I could be wrong though, so I would just give him a call and see what he can do for you.

The answer is in the post above yours. Put down deposit that is 50% of total minus $75. Pay the remaining balance at the end which will be determined with the $2 per order discount.

I watched the video and those exhaust bolts look very clean and easy to remove. I went under my car and looked at the bolts and they are pretty rusted. I think I'm going to have a fun (not really, it's going to be a terrible) time removing those bolts.

Kimball Midwest makes a penetrating spray that is amazing. Sprayed it on 4 O2 sensors on a 10 year old F150. 30 minutes later and one hard tug on the wrench they came right off. Keep in mind, on the Ford these were on the manifold.

I PB'ed the hell out of those bolts and they didn't budge. Easiest way is to take a torch to the nut until it's cherry red and the bolt comes right off. (needs to be the nut end, not the screw head end)

Keith's system is so bad ass my uncle that got rid of his 2013 to buy a 2019 had the GIBSON system exhaust I purchased and did not like it but my uncle did so I gave it to him now that he bought 2019 I told him about BA Mufflers he said he wants the 8 inch or 10 inch so we are trying to decide what is good for him so let's get this ball rolling and get some more orders in so every gets a great discount

Use a cheater bar for more leverage after spraying them with some wd40 or something like that a couple times. Works like a charm

Oooooooh. I'm here to keep track of that discount, pretty sure I'm going to be going with the 8" aluminized. Even though I live in WA with nasty winters, I'm a cheap ass

Nothing wrong with being cheap but in this case, I would seriously think about getting stainless. Just a suggestion...

Let me ask the question a different way:

Without the promotion, what is the cost of the 8" and 10". This will give me some idea of what I will spend.

    I keep it really clean!
How much of a sound difference is there between the budget system and the budget dumped? They are louder and more raspy compared to the 6 8 and 10 correct? The 10 would be the quietest under normal conditions and only be beefy when stomped on? And then the 8 a little louder under normal conditions? And so on and so forth? So the budget would be loudest at cruising RPMs? I'm just trying to figure out if I can afford the system I want

Looks like budget starts around 479 and 6 8 and 10 start about 750

You would be correct. The budget system has no mufflers, so it’s definitely the loudest. And I’m pretty sure you get more drone when you do a dump, since you will be without the tailpipe.

I had the 8” and absolutely loved the sound, I think that’s Keith’s most popular system. My brother in law has the 6” and it’s a little louder than my 8”, but a little raspier. I liked the deep tone of the 8”.

The beautiful part is Keith has a sound warranty, and if you don’t like the sound, ship it back and he’ll give you a credit towards another system.
