I used a jackstand to hold one end of my system up while i lifted the other side to the bolts.

I may have to because I need to bend, or cut the tail-pipe so it will clear my lowered rear end.

I have it on stand by... it will be the last thing I add - if needed.

Do you reuse the stock gasket on the end top the y’all pipe? Or leave off?

You should have gotten a new one from DD. If yours is in great shape you can reuse it. Mine was disintegrated

Just finished. Took me about an hour and half and man I’m tired. Did not do the resonator. Wanted to try without first but man...that first startup!!!:yes::yes:

    Stock for now...
Agreed. I installed the whole system, marked the tail pipe, then removed and cut the hole using a 2" Milwaukee Hole Hawg from Home Depot. All I added was a good pilot drill with tip designed for stainless. Keep your drill lower speed and use a little oil if needed on the teeth. Cut through like butter. Just make sure to NOT install the resonator before mounting the tail pipe, and keep it close to the spare tire (but not touching) and pointed up slightly to prevent water accumulating in the resonator and rusting it out.

All that remains to install is the resonator... I'm about to take it on it's maiden voyage.

The resonator install is a lot easier than it seems. It’s so worth it to install the resonator

Congrats on a new system :headbang: Keep us updated on your shipping notification. I’ve tried to contact Keith for an update but no dice yet. I’m sure he’s busy.

Installed everything. Dropped the spare and did the resonator with tailpipe in-place. Using a 2" hole saw worked great. Loving the sound and no low end torque loss. Pulls nice at 4k-6k.

How long did it take you to do the resonator part?

Will something like this be able to do the cut?

So far - so good, but I have not done any Interstate driving yet. I also haven't done any acceleration test from a dead stop yet, I am allowing the DAP tune to adjust to the change before performing that test.

Well, I haven’t received my exhaust yet.
Nor, for that matter, notice that it’s been shipped or even made yet.
    Buuuuut...

about an hour: mocking up the resi, chalking the pipe, dropping the tire, realign the resi and re-chalk, drill the pilot hole, drill the hole saw slowly, mount the resi with the U-bolts, reinstall the spare tire.

I presume most 2" hole saws will do the work. I have a Milwaukee ice set or whatever. Just go slow to not break your wrists when it catches.

I had to cut my bolts off my 1Gen a long time ago, rusted to hell. Angle grinder to the flange side with the nut, once that's off, the flange will pop open and you're free. I then used a few stainless 3/8"-16 hex bolts, washers, and nuts to close it back up. Nothing fancy welded on, just a bolt & nut.
