It's a 3rd muffler, meant to further quiet the exhaust without killing any power gains.

Does Keith build his own mufflers, or does he incorporate other manufacturer's units into his systems? I thought I read that he builds his own, but not 100% sure.

Well apparently no shop wants to deal with the resonator install and the only shop that will do it wants to charge me about $100 to install just the resonator.
Im starting to think i’ll do this myself, any ideas/suggestions on how to and what will I need?

Hole saw, for stainless or aluminum, whichever one you got. drill it off the vehicle if you want, apply pressure with the drill slowly, let the speed do the work.

True... But the important part is to see where/how to attach the resonator. I pulled the whole tailpipe section out to find the center and drill the hole. The whole process start to finish for the resonator took about 20 minutes working fairly slow. The hole saw will be going through stainless (even if you ordered the aluminized system) as that is what the stock Toyota tailpipe is made of

Has anyone tried installing this without jacking it up?

I installed the cat-back this morning by lying on my back on a piece of cardboard in the driveway without jacking the truck up, now the tail-pipe is going to present a much bigger challenge because the rear end is lowered.

I can't say one way or the other yet, the tail-pipe needs to be installed and then I need to drive it a bit.

I know you have a unique setup, but do you have/are you planning on installing a branch resonator.

Just for reference, I put Keith's dual tailpipe resonator setup on my TRD exhaust, and it is stock quiet now.
