    Stock for now...
Redneck? It must not be very red, my redneck screamed "BUDGET DUMPED"! :taco::kona::dancingbacon:

So naturally, like a mature, 40yr old professional service manager and father of 3, I ordered the budget. LOL Seriously, it's not that loud at idle at all and you can soft pedal around at a mellow rumble. Totally happy with my choice, but I'll check back in with my "budget" impressions after I-25 trips and commuting for awhile.

Well no exhaust shipping notifications but my subs and amp shipped and will be here Tuesday. Guess I'll be listening to a different kind of sweet sounds.

    Yes, we do.

I can already hear my Husband saying ‘Amber, was this really a necessity?‘ when mine arrives. Like he did with my recent gun purchase.

But seeing how I was among the last to get in on this group buy, it’ll still be awhile before I get mine so it buys me some time to come up with a good excuse.

3rd wave checking in with a quick review of the install and first drive/impressions.
    8" SS with no resonator.
First off - Keith and his crew make a great product. All the welds look great and the system is solid all around. Does not "feel" cheap or like it was rushed to be put together.

Took me 2 hours in total with the truck in the driveway up on ramps.
Watch Keith's youtube video - it is a step by step guideline that is perfect. I had it pulled up on my cell phone beside me the whole time.
Truck is a 2019, so bolts did not even need WD40 on them to get them all out.
Pay attention to the gasket on the back of the stock system. It is very brittle, my plan was to pull it off but instead I followed Keith's instruction and just taped the hell out of that end including the gasket.
Both units are heavy, so use your body/legs to brace them as you put them up/pull them out.
Once Keith's exhaust is in place, you will have to bump the front flanges into place. Something I noticed that was a little different than Keith's video was the gaskets/flanges on the front of my system on my stock exhaust. In his video, he said that the gasket from the stock system side just sits against his and you tighten down til the ears start to bend a bit. On my truck, the gasket seated perfect just inside his system open and I tightened it down the entire way - no bending ears, just flat metal to metal seal.
On the rear gasket, there was some trial and error to get the end tailpipe section where I wanted it, his instructions are spot on - turn the tailpipe, tighten, turn, tighten. I thought mine was "level" but standing behind looking at it, my exhaust tip goes down slightly but I can live with it (no water will settle in there then at least).

First startup was fantastic. Great growl. Idles clean without any obnoxious sound.
Pulling out of the driveway and up to street speed - it sounds incredible. Just about perfect growl and then when you are up to cruising speed on flat ground, you don't even know it is there. You just have a slight growl but it sounds very nearly stock.
At highway speeds, without a resonator installed, I have drone at around 61-64mph. A simple touch of the throttle and it is gone. Coming from a diesel truck background, it is not bothersome to me at all - might bother some folks though.
One of my concerns was going up some of the hills near where I live, I did not want that super obnoxious BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR going up them and annoying every person that lives along the roads. My fears are all gone now - the sound going up those hills is a clean growl that is not obnoxious at all.
Seat of the pants evaluation of any extra horsepower - can't tell too much to be honest. The exhaust growl makes you feel like it has more pep but I am not sure if it is just the sound translating to how much foot I put in or if it is actually more powerful.

Overall I am very pleased with the 8"SS system. Keith and his crew are the real deal and will get my business again if I would need another exhaust of some sort.

Just installed my 8” man what a great product. Didn’t put on the resonator yet. I love it without it maybe I’ll love it with it too? Anybody else on the fence with the resonator?

I got my shipping notification to arrive 10/23, but then it switched to 10/24. As of this morning, it switched to today (10/21)! Seems a bit odd lol.

I ran 2 weeks on my 10 before doing the resonator. The exterior quiets down just a little bit. Interior noise almost goes away. You will still know it’s there

When I ordered I was around 100 and made the final payment right after the group buy closed and I haven't heard anything yet. I think we'll hear something this week.

This is the custom 3 muffler system Keith came up with to keep my 5.7L RCSB as quiet as possible, without losing any possible power gains. It will roar @ WOT and I will attach a factory tail-pipe to the cat-back... extend it over the axle and as far back as possible without making contact with the lowered rear suspension. I may hold off on installing the Helmholtz, but I may not.

Only Keith can answer that question, but I know it has something to do with pipe length ahead of the mufflers.
