    Its definitely noticeable outside the truck. My comment was more to in-cab noise level - not tone. Also, I'm running a 10" with resonator.

    Not holding my breath for getting in this wave as I think im in the mid 90s. so he would have had to do a few more than 30 this week for me to make it. As a consolation prize my subs and amp are expected to ship today.

    Okay, So maybe there is hope yet for you too TysToy! My stainless budget system showed up super late yesterday, my wife said around 6PM she got a knock at the door and a big brown box! :yes: She talked to the driver and he scanned the box at delivery and said something about "funny, it's not registering". Anyway, my tracking number still says it's in San Diego but this morning its ON MY TRUCK! :drunk:

    BTW, I'm about a 7 wrench out of 10 mechanic, and I had the whole system installed including resonator in 40 minutes. But I cheat, I have a lift at my shop which makes the whole process very easy. I never tried the system without the resonator, I just don't like drone. Keith @dirtydeeds you rock! Dayum, the sound at WOT and hard accel is so good... and I am totally fine with the rumble-bee noise at idle. It's not as bad as I though inside of a building so I don't think I'll wake the wifey when I leave. Thanks so much Keith for the group buy, you rock!

    I used a Milwaukee Hole Dozer that was pretty well used at this point, 2" O.D. I definitely put it in the ground with the stainless pipe, but I swapped out the pilot hole drill bit with a nice cutting drill made for steel and stainless VS the crappy Milwaukee pilot drill that was more for wood and drywall. The resonator takes a bit of enforcing to get popped over the stock tailpipe but Keith's design is pretty sweet. Not hard at all to bolt up once the hole is cut and the tailpipe is back in place with the new flange gasket. :welder:

    Install done in about an hour without the resonator. So far I love it. I have to say, I can feel a positive difference in the handling and Torque.

    After driving around for about an hour on the 10" as system, I will likely not install the resonator. So if someone bought a system without one and would like one, mine will be on sale.

    I was going with the budget but opted out and got the 6 inch to me I don't think it's that loud and I didn't even install the resonator. Awesome sound! Thanks Keith.

    Cold start sounds really good. Little to no drone at all. When you getting on it, sounds like a V8 should. The redneck in me says should've gone with the 8". Being a profficinal position at a major corporation I probably made the right decision. :rofl:

    wd-40, pb blaster, any penetrating oil. I like to spray it hot, and if they're super corroded or you're worried spray a day or two before install as well.
