Posts from the past say 3 to 10 hp and 10 to 20 tq with no low end tq loss. Most of the gains will be in the mid to top range.

    Thank you.

So it's mostly sound enhancement, with only slight power gains.

A DAP tune would enhance those numbers a bit, right?

I’m sure it would. I think the stock manifolds are the limiting factor. There’s only so much power to be had after the cat with manifolds.

    Now headers changes things.....

Yes they can, but the price of admission goes way up when headers are involved.

And every time I think about adding headers to my 5.7L this article comes to mind... bringing me back to a 10" cat-back from Keith, it's a much more cost effective option than headers will ever be for me.

So my wife said if this gets at least 100 orders, I can make the call to Keith!

Really trying to decide on aluminum vs stainless steel since I live in Houston...

Ok y’all get this all the time, I’m still going to ask this... I pull a 4k camper if I’m to say I’m all in on a 8” with rezi’s the drone would only be a factor when I wanna race Johnny’s F150 throttle down? How’s the med-high, med, low? Stockish? Very interested regardless.

The overall attitude of the truck is enhanced over stock. Just like a tuner. Gains in Hp and track times are minimal. But the attitude of the truck and how it drives is what you’re doing it for. The sound is a side effect.

Our standard systems are the only systems available for a tundra that address both low end torque loss and drone:)

You don’t need a tuner for long tubes, however, it’s a big bonus.

I worked with bullydog to write a tune specifically for long tube headers. Highly recommend having that choice rather than just kne option as with other tuners.

    I'm in.

I want aggressive tone when on the throttle but no drone at highway speeds like it is now with the stock system. Be hard to give that up.

My truck is great on the highway, smooth and quiet. I like how you can hold a conversation. I've had vehicles that transmitted a lot of road and wind noise with no mods.

Oh there’s definitely a cost involved in doing it. Just getting the headers installed was 13 hours of shop time. That’s not even the price of the headers or the rest of the system...

And no, I’m not tuned. I’ve only had the headers on about 2 weeks, hope to find a tune in the near future.

JBA Long tubes with @dirtydeeds TRD Replacement system. I also sent Keith my cats and he molded them in to some new mid pipes so everything fits like a glove.

She’s got some serious spunk now, and sounds absolutely ridiculous!!!

Do itttt!!! Keith will be able to suggest your best option based off the feedback you giving him on what you’re looking for.

I had the 8” though, and freaking loved the sound. Aggressive on the throttle, but barely noticeable under normal driving conditions.

    Thank you, Keith.

Any thoughts on dumped with a turn down vs. a single tail-pipe exiting ahead
of the rear wheel on the passenger side of my RCSB with the rear end lowered?

If running stock manifolds you want to exit thru the stock tailpipe. You can dump with turndown too, but the stock tailpipe gives you way better low end torque.

Yes, I realize a tail-pipe will help retain low end grunt but the rear suspension has been lowered 3.25" and the stock tail-pipe will no longer clear the axle. This is why I was asking about a single side exit pipe, because some tail-pipe is better than none. I am currently running a little more than a foot of tail-pipe including the resonator that came with the truck, it's ugly but it works.

In this situation I recommend using as much of the stock tailpipe as possible. If there’s room, just cut it after the last hanger so it dumps way back there. Normally on a lowered truck like yours the long shackles out the leaf right in the way of the tailpipe, but there’s normally room between the rear end and bed still.

8” will be on the edge of too loud. In my opinion it’s just barely quiet enough to work when towing that much weight.

The 10” system is made for towing.
