I'm sure whichever one you pick you'll be happy with, I was on the fence between 8 & 10. Even asked Keith if he'd make me a 9 lol. After talking to Keith he steered me towards the 10". I explained that my driveway is right outside our bedroom window and I leave for work at 3am. Happy wife happy life. Thanks Keith!

 

Are all the 10" the standard systems or is there a 10" budget? I asked above but wasn't really clear to me.

 

Budget means no mufflers

 

I was on the fence about the 8 or the 10 - gave Keith all my info, wants, and background: no towing, driving it maybe 100-200 miles a week, commute consists of normal highway - stop and go - mountains, roadtrip randomly, no kids, sound does not bother me much as long as it is not obnoxious, coming from a diesel truck with a straight muffler in my past, not installing a resonator, no ultra close neighbors.
He said the 8 would be fine for me, it is by no means obnoxious - just you can hear it in the cab a little more than the 10. If that doesn't bother you - live happy with the 8.
Best advice by far though is to call Keith and talk to him.

 

If I'm understanding correctly, the budget system has no mufflers. So your choices are budget (no muffler), or a 6", 8", or 10" muffler system

 

Thanks. On their site it appeared that budget was available in 6 or 8. I didn't see a 10 budget anywhere. Only saw the 10 as a standard, which as others pointed out, has mufflers.

If there is a 10" budget, that would be perfect - was hoping to confirm.

 

I could def be wrong about that. Keith is easy to talk to and he'll answer all your questions. Have your credit card ready when you call so we can get another $2 off!

 

I think you are right actually. My reading comprehension on their site was questionable.

Pulled the trigger on th 10in. Keith is awesome. Answered every question. He assured me that he would swap out the 8in if I wanted. Only cost would be shipping.

He believes I am number 54. Keep the orders coming. $2 per each is so sweet.

Alright guys. This is getting real, real quick. We are at about 55 orders!! They generally come in faster and harder the last two weeks.

The goal is 100 orders. Pretty sure we will hit that!!

 

Your wife/kids will hate you in the winter time cold start in the garage if you back in will have the walls vibrating.

What stinks is I’m towing to fla from Ohio for the second time this year and we leave first week of oct. I wanna break it innnnnn but will have to wait. I’m second or third shipment.

 

I tow a 18'8" Ranger fiberglass boat and I opted for the 8". I talked to Keith and although I didn't mention the boat I told him I test drove a truck with the TRD exhaust and liked it but wanted just a tad more and he said the 8" would get me what I want. How does it sound while towing your boat? How do you like it while towing?

 

I don't have it yet, ordered it in the group buy and I believe I'm #2 so I should have it next month.

 

Really looking forward to installing my 10” SS, in the meantime I’ll just leave this here
