wasn’t my first choice but I really like it now. Army green wasn’t worth an additional $15k to me for the same exact truck in a different color lol

Funny. I wanted army green as well. Ended up with the bronze mica. Like it a lot now.

Looking at everyone switching to 37s is awesome! I’ve had mine for a few years now and definitely would like to go up to 40s but I don’t want it any taller then it is now. Keep them photos coming so I can make bad choices!

First trip with the 37s and towing the trailer. Managed to average 11.2 mpg with lots of hill climbs. Not too bad.

How heavy is your trailer? I’m on the fence with 35 or 37. I have a 5,060 dry weight camper. I pull it about 1 1/2 hours one way to the campground maybe 5 times a year.

I wish she was clean.. haven’t washed the truck in 2 years lol… currently running the RC 3.5 vertex coilovers for the front and rear with JBA upper and icon add a leaf with 2” shackles. Alot of people knock on RC, but these are by far the smoothest coilovers I’ve ever had. Smoother than the fox and foam cell pro coilovers I’ve had previously. Method nv305 18” with +25 offset and BFG KM3 37x13.5x18. Smoothest and quietest mud tires ive ever had. BMC and flattened pinch welds. Max caster on alignment and you’re golden. No rubbing on full lock and articulation.

Pulled the trigger on 37s finally. KORITAS TIRES have them brand new for dirt cheap.

Got a set of 5 for around $1800.

That’s an awesome price for 37s! I wish I had 17s from the beginning but I’m satisfied with 18s for now unless I can find a set I can’t pass up on price.

yea man, I was looking at 18in wheels but then the price of 37s tires on 18 wheels is significantly higher so I gave up.

At the time I started all of this, I had alot of conflicting information about 17s not fitting on the tundra and 18s with a positive offset and alot less cutting will get me to 37s. There wasn’t a big selection on 17in wheels. That was 5 years ago. If I could start over, I would lol but I can’t justify the cost to switch because I already have 37s lol. Can’t wait to see your setup once it’s done!

Yea. I test fit 37s on 25mm offset wheels and it was not rubbing but very close. So I am thinking to get 35mm offset so it’s 10mm further away than being close.

just remember the more positive the offset, the more the wheels will be pushed in. Watch out for the upper control arm clearance so that the 12.5 wide won’t rub on it. That’s the big issue with having more positive offset.also if you’re rocking sway bars, they will rub with that offset.

will do, I currently have 25mm offset, with 12.5 wide tires there is sill a healthy amount of space between tire and uca.

I think +25mm offset is the true "sweet spot" for an 18" rim. I have a ton of room with the 37x12.5's and will likely jump to a 37x13.5 when these wear out.

Longer wheel studs are also a smart upgrade...

for the stock length wheel stud, which lug nuts are you using? I am trying to see if the ones I have now to fit ICON wheels would work for the method 705 wheels.

The stock studs required extended lug nuts. I dont have a part number or link handy at the moment.
The longer studs allowed me to go back to a standard lug nut.

I’m running a 13.5 on a +25 and I rub on my icon uppers and my fox resi’s. Something to consider if you have a similar setup. It’s not bad but close to full lock I’m all in it. I’m assuming it’s just from the 13.5. I got a killer deal I couldn’t pass up or I was going to run 12.5.
