You'll be fine with your 37s and stock gears...especially if you're in the flats...do it, save, then regain your power and, e'hem... mpg back ;-)

Thank you. And yes for sure I am in the flattest of the flats in Charleston. The only hill we have is a few bridges. Thank you for your response.

You'd be fine. It'll just feel slow and have a hard time getting up into or staying in 6th on small hills. Some leave stock 4.30s with 37s forever.

What do dirty seven members do for a spare? I do not have room in the bed and I don’t have a swing out carrier option. Just curious. Maybe wedge a 35 under the truck with some modifications.

Roof mount or a deflated 37 could be viable if you have a compressor...just spit-balling ideas...

I bought a arb plug kit lol while I wait for the spare. I’m going to end up with a swing away carrier for it. I definitely feel like I need a spare and I’m not willing to run it in the bed and lose space. Swing away is the best option for me to retain as much space and visibility as I can

I have AAA so unless I'm over 200 miles from home I don't. I do have OBA and a plug kit, if I'm over 200 miles from home I throw it in the bed

So fella's I found something out the other day when I finally joined the "Dirty Seven's" club. Depending on what tire type of tire you go with you may or may not have to do more trimming. I previously had Toyo open country MTs 35x12.5x18s on my Method NV305s but when they were brand new they would rub slightly. Now that I upgraded to Falken Wildpeak AT3W's 37x12.5x18s I had to do zero extra trimming and I did not rub. Im guessing the extra large lugs on the sidewall of the toyo MT's gave some extra width to the wheel. Upgrading wheel sizes was way easier than I thought it was going to be. I already had the grinder ready and called the alignment shop to set an appointment. Crazy it was just a easy tire swap. Things never go that smoothly for me

So a 17” Icon +25 offset wheel may not be the best choice due to offset? I’m better off looking for a +18 or even a 0 offset to run 37’s so I’m not potentially hitting UCAs or anything else? I will be running a 17” wheel and the Cooper AT3 XLT 37x12.5x17. Just want to make sure I’m not forgetting anything or any extra parts or whatever. Thanks for the check.

Current setup: 6112 top setting, Icon rear with CB+3 and airbags in rear. C4 Overland front bumper. Aggressive CMC done. Total Chaos UCAs.

That should work, I'm running that same size tire and pretty close sounding on the lift. One thing I've noticed with these trucks is their all just a little different.... meaning two tundras with the exact same lift will be just slightly different from each other. One might not have any issues with rubbing while the next will.

Sorry for the confusion. When you say “that should work” are you saying the 17” Icon +25 offset should work or I need a +18 or 0 offset and those should work?

I read previous posts about offsets and 37’s but some say 0 offset is fine and others say +25 is fine. Thank you all again.

I currently have a full size spare in the bed but my back seats are always folded up, never have passengers other than my dogs, so I’m taking the seats out and will make a custom tire mount that will use the seat bracket holes. When the seats are folded up they are actually wider than a tire standing up.

    I run NV 305s with a mild BMC 18s +25 offset. With the AT3W 37x12.50r18.

the icon wheels with +25 offset are great. It has been discussed several times in this thread there is a sweet spot i think 18-25 positive offset. Yes if you get to positive you run the risk of hitting control arms and engine skid plate. but if you go to negative then your hitting bumper and body mount. many guys have got away with 0 offset. but without fiberglass you going to ram the tire into the fender when flexing. If you not really offroading the truck then you will be fine. I wanted to build the truck to tuck thats why i went with +25 and i have had no issues with rubbing control arms etc

Anyone ever have a issue with your truck pulling to the right? I just had an alignment done and everything besides my caster is in spec. Any ideas?

First and easiest guess would be a weight got thrown off. Other threads usually will ask you to post up your alignment results so we can see them and the Jedis can see something there potentially.
