Won’t affect your alignment at all to remove sway bar. Undo end links and mounts, and slide it out one side. I can’t remember if I had to do something with the skid plate or something to make room but it came right out.

At the moment I have no skid plate on as I’m breaking in my new gears and it’s going to need the oil changed soon so I left it off so I have full access to it now. Should be real easy to remove. Thank you. I’m glad I don’t have to do another alignment. But now my front locker is leaking again so it’s going back to the shop. It was supposed to be fixed when they did my gears, but I guess not. Thanks again.

Removed the swaybar and took the truck for a ride to meet Trdwillie14 to give him the stock pro skid plate I had. Honestly thought it would be sloppy, but it drove fine. You will feel it when taking a hard turn though. Good thing I don’t drive like a maniac. No more rubbing. Now I need to figure out how to dial in the hyper tech inline speedo calibrator. I put in 37 inch tires and 5.29 gears in the fields it asked for, but was still way off. Anyone do this and got it dialed in? Looking for numbers to put in to make it work properly. Thanks in advance.

What tires did you get? They can vary pretty widely from actual 37

Bf Goodrich KM3 37x12.5r18s. I got it dialed in after I took apart my dash twice. Like a clown I figured I put in the proper numbers in the options and thought it would be good. Nope. The second time I left the usb cable plugged in and had to go thru the process of driving with my garmin gps and my Gaia app open and put it on cruise control and see if it matched. If it was off pull over adjust the numbers again until I got. After 7 times of going from 36.5” tires all the way up 43.5” tires it finally matched up perfectly. So the hyper tech thinks I have 43.5” tires and 5.29 gears. So if you do this mod leave that cable installed so you don’t have to remove the dash again.

Weird that it matched up with tires that aren’t even close to what is on it

Ya it’s really far off but according to both devices on cruise control on a long flat road it’s spot on at 43.5” tires. I’m not sure if it’s all in my head, but the truck does feel like it’s driving better. It’s supposed to adjust shift points. Now I also have a DAP tune and a pedal commander installed on the truck so not sure how or what is taking precedence over what cause the DAP tune is supposed to adjust shift points as well. But with my new gears and the way it’s setup I keep the pedal commander on City +2 and it wants to go. Before the gears I had to have it on sport +3 to make it move like it does now, but it was actually dumping more gas in the motor to achieve the same goal. If you don’t have gears yet I would highly recommend it and at least the hyper tech inline calibrator. I’m going to remove the DAP tune for fun just to see if that makes a difference or if the hyper tech is kicking that tune out.

Hot sweaty day in the garage, got my bmc done and some minor trimming to the bumper end caps. I think I might need to trim a little more in front. Get some pictures up tomorrow. I'm still running the stock uca, can the tires be moved back any with a proper alignment? Running Toyo R/Ts

I towed a 2k trailer today up a pretty steep grade at 7,500ft. Was very surprised at how well it did with stock gearing, that 5.7 is a beast!

Ok Im guessing with a -12 offset I would be doing alot of cutting to fit 37's right

Currently just spacers but I'm getting ready to redo the front with either toytec 2.5 or ome 613 with and SPC UCA . I just put 35's on but getting ready for the next steps after I have the suspension gears and armour installed to finish the project

I wouldn't attempt 37s with a -12 with spacers or that lift. I have -18 wich is just a fuzz further out with a 7" lift and my 35s hit plastics everywhere and body mount at full turn. I Just put 38s on and have probably removed 10 lbs of metal and plastic to make them fit because of my negative offset . 37s need 0+ or big lift. But if you do attempt it take pics cuz I wanna see!

Definitely in on this one. 37 Nittos on ICON/TotalChaos setup with rear Airlift. Great looking trucks on this thread. A Tundra with 37s looks freakin sweeeeet:

All I'm try is to find out what Offsets work. I hate the wheels I have and looking to change them as well in the process

If I remember correctly 0 is as far as I have seen with a 3inch on 37s but he also was having issues making them fit. @joonbug I think had 0 offset. But the more positive the easyer there going to fit

Yeah, 37’s with a 0 offset and only 2.5” of lift is pushing it. I should be fine once my new arms come in. But I also have an aftermarket front bumper and glass fenders. I honestly would not even attempt a negative offset.

Something is not right here. Is your truck clean? Probably just a camera filter no way you put tire shine on?

Pic was taken right after my annual car wash and those tires just got put on and America's Tire put a little tire dressing on it. I don't have any tire dressing so my tires will never look like this again. :anonymous:

You have a steel front bumper? I have the 613 springs on mine with the arb front bumper (no winch yet) and it’s stiff enough. I do run SPC uppers with coachbuilder shims. Body mount chopped and 37x12.5s on stock wheels. I run 1.5” wheel spacers up front to clear the tires on the uppers. (Anyone know what offset this would be?)

    Pic cause why not.

Stock is +60 offset (yours could be different)
    1.5" = ~38mm
so your resulting offset would be +22

Edit: Someone should probably double check this
