How much lift and what offset does your brother have? @Jman245 is trying to run 0 offset on 3” lift. I don’t think that will work with the stock UCA. Unless the bmc goes all the way into the firewall maybe?

That is the kicker! With the 0 offset, I would have to do a more aggressive bmc. Or would uca's help me enough to get away from that? Im thinking bumper spacers too.... thanks guys for all the help!

Are you guys looking at the weight of the tires?
    They vary allot.
    For example: 37 12.5/17s

    Toyo RT = 79lbs
    Nitto Ridge Grappler = 81.48lbs
    Flaken Wildpeaks AT3 = 82.5lbs
    BF Goodrich KO2 All Terrain = 69.49lbs
    Nitto Terra Grap = 75.13lbs
    Cooper AT3 = 68lbs
    Cooper Max = 79lbs

I didnt really look at any MTs

That’s a much bigger difference than I thought between ko2 and Toyo or Nittos. Is it different rubber compounds or nobs that make that much difference?

well technically they are classified as a different tire
An All Terrain Tire will most always weigh less than a Mud Terrain Tire
However, now manufactures have created a hybrid tire like the RTs or Ridgegrapplers hence the different weights when compared to the all terrain KO2 or Coopers

Have you guys replaced the oem jack? If so, with what? looking to replace with a bottle neck jack and hopefully have it fit where the oem went. Tried a 21" max jack but it's just quote not enough to change the tire (when needed).

I'm using the oem bottle jack with 1 2x8x8 and 2 2x4x6 wood. My plan is use the 2x8x8 as base and the two 2x4x6's to the vehicle side. Luckily, I haven't done this on the trail or on the road but tested in the garage.

Ugh.. seeing you guys on 37s... gave me an itch. dammit. I would have to get different wheels (offset) to get another 2 inches taller tho. Pic on 25s

Would like to fill that fender a lil more.

Yeah 25 or so is the sweet spot.

For 0 offset to work, you need:
Adjustable UCA like the icon billet, aggressive bmc, cut stock bumper (spacers don’t move it far enough and make it look funny), stock skid plate trim or replacement, sway bar delete, a shop willing to perform your alignment correctly by using the UCA heims.

BFG 37s are so light because they’re actually 36 inches and not 37. Somewhere I have pics of our Toyo RT 37s next to our friend’s BFG “37s” and the difference is enough to make you sick.

My buddy just bought some Patagonia Milestars in 37 for like $200 each. They have decent reviews and a pretty light weight.
