Gotcha. I've always liked their builds but it's good to hear from someone getting some real use out of them.

Ok so I been lurking around the thread which as you guys know if your here most likely your going 37s lol.

So my question is how will this setup work for a street warrior.

    - Bilstein 8112 DSA+ fronts and 8100 Bypass rears
    - JBA UCA or Icon Billet not sure if the icon are worth the extra $$$
    - Deaver U748 springs or K37 not sure what will be better + U-Bolts and Bushings
    - Coachbuilder .5" lift shims x2
    - Carrier Bearing Drop
    - Coachbuilder +1 Shackle
    - +25 wheels

If there is anything I should change or suggestions please advise.

I got them from Accutune, and I can't recommend them enough. Great customer service from those guys. And yes, the Fox stuff is great. I love the DSC adjusters.

They're on! Now the adjustments... rubbing a little, but I still need an alignment, and can always cut more. :sawzall:

You planning on any load? Then if so the k37 is out. Also upper arm wise I’d skip those and go with camburg, total chaos, or DK

For a street warrior? How often do you think you’d be off road?

This is mine sitting on 5100s on all corners.

I’m sure I can take it off road no problem, but desert go fast over washes, most definitely not the ideal setup.

I ground lots of slots on the pinch weld, then hammered them flat. Then drilled a new hole to bolt the bottom of liner away from tire. I ground off a lot of the body mount. I still need to get plates welded on the body mounts. Then took a heat gun to the plastic inner liner to push/ stretch it away from the tire. I see you have no problem with your aftermarket front bumper. I had to grind a lot of the inner bumper, drilled new holes to tighten things up. I have 35 x 12:50’s now with more than enough room. I’m sure I’ll have room for 37’s. Which will be my next size.

I bearly carry a load but to be safe I'll go with the U748. For the UCA which one is preferred for street use living in a salt state?

Not often most likely bearly, I ran 5100 on my 1st gen but was recommended 8112/8100.

Unless if you do a ton of maintenance, they’re all uniballs. Salt will destroy them if you don’t keep up with lubricating and cleaning them.

When you mean tighter fit do you mean between the coils and the tire? Or something else? Planning nitto recon grapplers because they’re a 37x11.5

Living in western Oregon, we get rain about 14 months per year. I replaced my Uni-Balls on my MCM UCAs with Icon Delta Joints. The Unis never gave me an issue, but I’m guessing they would eventually since water and grime were constantly sitting on top of them. The Delta Joints have been good so far.
