We do have this capability. But it would be hard. You’d want thst single pipe to be a stock tailpipe due to its oddball size. But it’s thst oddball size thst gives for free, low end torque;)

So I read all the posts but still confused. I have the stock muffler with the single pipe behind the wheel. If I wanted to do a just like dual TRD stainless system what do I need?

TRD replacement muffler from Keith + the TRD tailpipe kit from Toyota. Even if you go full TRD duel exaust you need to by two parts from Toyota, muffler and tail pipe (they sell them as separate items). does that help?

Can the resonators be built in for a truly bolt on exhaust? I’m not mechanically inclined and will have to pay someone to install.

I’m not mechanically inclined either, and this is literally the easiest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I installed it by myself. Watch keith’s video, he even reaches you how to do it blindfolded!

And then make sure you get a 2” Milwaukee holedozer to cut the tailpipe. You can cut the tailpipe while it’s still on, so it’s literally one of the easiest mods I’ve ever done.

We discussed many things and my path for a replacement system is in the near future. I was debating long tubes headers and midpipes as well and after talking with Keith I now have a solid game plan for my truck, which includes the TRD replacement, but I won't be ready in time for this group buy. :(

I started making my way thru the old thread to find the info that I am looking for but 20 pages deep to no avail so far so I will just ask. How much louder is the 8" budget system compared the the standard system with mufflers? I want the truck to be throaty but no overly obnoxious where the neighbors will be MFing me every time I drive up and down the block. I also found some Youtube videos but the way they have all been recorded varies so much that it's virtually impossible to tell.

Awesome! Let us know when you jump on board and I’ll add you to the list.

That’s definitely question that’s asked to Keith A LOT! I went with the 8” system because I still have young kids, and it’s very deep and throaty. I’ve heard the 6” is a little louder, but also a little more raspier, so that’s why I went with 8” system. I would honestly just call Keith and tell him what you’re interested in, and he will suggest an option. Plus, with his warranty, if you don’t like the exhaust just send it back for a different one!

By the way, love your truck. White sports are the best!

Ok, so the tailpipe kit from Toyota but what DD TRD system would that be? Is it part of this group buy?

Keith’s TRD Replacement system is apart of the group buy. He has 3 different tones for the exhaust, due to different muffler sizes, so I would highly suggest calling him to make sure he builds you the exhaust you want. But all you gotta do is buy the TRD replacement system from him, and then the TRD tailpipes from your local dealer, and you’re good to go!

Has anyone had buyer's remorse after opting for the aluminized steel instead of the stainless steel?

I live in NC and see very little snow/ice every year. I realize I could also paint the aluminized steel exhaust with Keith's directions (link), but I have not seen too much feedback on that project.

I do not have my stainless yet (arriving today fingers crosses) but Keith talked me into it. In NC we are sort of right on the border of where he recommends the stainless. Im located in Raleigh so we don't get a ton either but they do brine the roads often in the winter. He also told me its not just about the exterior of the system but with the temperature an humidity we get here there is lots of moisture inside the pipe combined with all the nasty exhaust gasses they can rot the pipe form inside. Figured i would shell out the few extra $$ as i keep my trucks for more than a few years.

Hmm, maybe I should change to the ss. I live north of Winston in the mountains and we get more snow here than surrounding areas.

I live in Texas and went with the stainless. Would not have felt right if I had went aluminized.

Just got off the phone with Keith, what a great guy. Took the time to answer my questions and walk me through my options. Gave me solid advice. So after talking with him I switched to the 6" ss, worth a little more $ to not worry. Paid my deposit and also ordered a tuner. Can't wait!

I talked to Keith tonight. I need to decide between the 8 or 10. I plan to put down my deposit before the week ends. I am looking forward to the new system!

Best option for a daily driver to add a nice sound, bump performance, but stay away from going full redneck?
We rarely get snow, they hardly ever salt here in Alabama... Aluminized ok? Or should I consider SS?
Trying to figure out if I have the expendable $ to do this or not. I want to...
