Does the TRD replacement bolt up to an sr5 without modifications?

Correct. It’s for dual tips though, so you need the TRD tailpipes. Keith sells them, but he says they’re expensive to ship, so you’re better off buying from your local dealer.

This system is best for people that already have the TRD system, but want the Dirty Deeds sound and gain of power!

If it’s a direct fit, I was thinking of switching to the dual TRD system. Anyone done this and have a ballpark on the cost of the tailpipes? I would assume there is an additional hangar for the driver side as a well?

You got it. That hanger can be purchased very cheap. Keith told me today that the tailpipes we’re $450 I think... but he said shipping them is expensive. So it’s best to just pick those up from you local dealer. Or try and score some on the Internet somewhere.

I’m currently using the 8” single exhaust. But this loud version of the TRD replacement has be intrigued. Keith states it’s MUCH more agreesive than the TRD on the low end, yet still quieter than the TRD at highway speeds. That’s crazy to me!

When you buy the Tail Pipe kit, it comes with the hanger, bolts for the hanger, rubber hanger for driver side, new heat shield (slightly bigger), two tailpipes, and the bolts to attach to muffler section. This is all you need to install the pipes if you have the TRD Replacement from Keith, or the TRD muffler.

Shop around, I was able to find the pipes locally for around 380 dollars and picked them up myself.

@TuFerLife @dirtydeeds is there a video on the trd replacement system? What happens if the 5 threshold isn’t met? Would the deposit be returned?

Thanks for the clarification. This will help answer a lot of questions for potential buyers.

Great question, man. So far there have been about 4-5 people express interest but no one has committed yet. Maybe Keith will chime in, this is new for all of us. I did not expect this system to be added to the Group Buy.

Only one I found on YouTube. Apparently it’s the 5x18 medium. Sounds pretty nasty in my opinion!

Is the TRD replacement better or an upgrade over the stock TRD exhaust? Anyone know the pipe diameter between the two?

I'm definitely interested in the system, but would probably need to pay Keith more for some turn downs, because I want to run it dumped

I'm sure he can work something out for you. We've got a decent amount of people interested in the TRD replacement system, but we need to get 5 orders to make sure we can get that discount on them. It's time for everyone else to jump in, @TXTundra2722 might be breaking the seal!

I'm in for sure. I'm still recovering from all the GBs on here though. We need to set these things up to happen 2-3 times a year at specific intervals so everyone can be better prepared. Here I thought tundras.com would help me... instead it has been killing my wallet!

I've had someone else inquire about this. He said that this was for standard systems, but if you want a bolt on first gen system, give him a call. He said he would hook up free shipping during the group buy.

You'd have to have someone would the two pipes into one and would cost more than worth I'm sure. Just dump it instead of running it back... cheaper too

I have the TRD system and I'm considering getting long tubes headers as well. What does the TRD replacement system actually replace? Will it bolt up to long tubes headers? Or will I still need some type of midpipe/cat variation?

I'm just trying to see how many parts I have and how many I would need to be: Longtube headers, catted midpipes, dirty in the middle, and TRD dual outs? Does the TRD Replacement make sense or should I be looking at something different? Sorry for the run-on here.
