While I don’t have the trd system, I just have the standard 10 inch one,

I do agree that there is a certain range in the powerband where the exhaust pulses almost reach perfect flow and it doesn’t rumble as much. Mine is not quite as pronounced or quiet as you are experiencing but I notice the smoothout

So what do you guys think I should do with this? My 8' SS will be here today and these are what my bolts for my exhaust currently look like. The bolt and exhaust have become one. I'm contemplating just taking it to a shop and getting it done with so I dont have to have the deal with this headache. Im guessing the only thing you can do is cut bolts/nuts off punch out bolt and replaces with stainless steel.

Yup, recieved mine yesterday and my gasket was missing. Looks like someone needed it more than me. Looking at the pictures of packages with the gasket, it looks to come in its own bag, so someone definitely ripped the bigger bag and took it out. BASTARDS:frusty:

Couldn’t the original gasket be reused?

I’d start liberally spraying PB Blaster on that every day for at least a week or more. I’d also clean off as much of that black gunk.

On the day of install, I’d try some heat to try to break them free. If they still won’t budge, then yeah, take it to a shop and have them deal with it.

Ive read a heard that they are one time use, but I think some have been successful reusing thenold gasket.

I’d call Keith and ask if it can be reused. If so, install it with the old gasket and then replace it when Keith sends you a new one. Or I guess just keep the new one as a spare.

My 2010 oe gasket was dust when i took off my tailpipe. Fell into 50 pieces.

I finally installed my resonator today. What a miracle device!! Minimal cab resonance became zero

Bringing this thread back, I’m in the market for a new dirty deeds exhaust hopefully. Sounds like the 10” is the most popular option.. not raspy with a nice throaty sound? Quiet when you’re not on the throttle?

I'm running a dual resonator 20 inch standard system - that I received and installed last week. Already had the tailpipe resonator, so Keith built a standard system with 20 inch mufflers and the resonator built into the Y.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. I had the 8 and 12 in the past, but at 50, I just wanted something that "tickles" the ear but is generally quiet.

The tone is great - crisp and deep with no rasp - and it's the right amount for me.
    Very quiet at highway cruising.
Light throttle in the low range is very muted - just a notch above OEM.
Improvement in throttle response is very noticeable - not placebo. I've had TRD and OEM and the truck just runs better with the BAM exhausts.

I don't have built in resonators, but I have a newly installed 20" (replaced a 12") with the single bolt on resonator. I'm beyond thrilled with it and share your experience. Not stock, but very enjoyable and great sound for my old ears. Can't wait to tow with it.
