SWEET list of parts!!! Christmas in July! hahaha

I will be installing the 7602 radiator guards today after work. Then on my way to Idaho for six days of riding tomorrow. I'll chew up these AT81s and spoon on the IRC VE35 and VE33S I have sitting in the garage on the bike later. I still need a rear disk guard and footpegs.

LOL... Indeed. In Motocross you encounter jumps and you need speed so money is thrown at suspension and engine/exhaust components. Enduro you encounter everything else.

I'd more so say in moto you build a fighter jet, enduro you build a tank.

Kinda have to... Being >20 miles away from a vehicle/road/etc. makes one think about protection.

Very nice. Been to Salmon many times while on the way to Hamilton (learned to ski at Lost Trail), my grandparents unfortunately died on the river right out of Salmon up by North Fork (Salmon River Road/NF30).

I vividly recall as a kid how boring the ride was from Mud Lake, ID to Salmon.

Have a great trip! Be safe...

Could use some advice from you guys. The front brake on my CRF 250R feels really sensitive — it doesn’t take much pressure on the lever before the front end locks up. Apart from that, it’s fairly squeaky. The front pads look fine, still plenty of life on them, and the rotor looks to be in good condition too. I would be surprised if the caliper was the issue (its a 2019 and has been well cared for). Any ideas on what to check next?

Separately, when you guys replace your brake pads do you have to bleed the lines? I was watching a video from Renthal on dirt bike maintenance and that was how they did it. Is that really necessary if you don’t disconnect the caliper from the brake line?

For the front brake, take the rubber boot off on the master cylinder and remove the lever. Clean and grease the lever bolt, spring, and push rod. That will take care of the squeaking. The front brake probably needs to be bled, take off the master cylinder cap and make sure the fluid is right at the upper limit mark. Is the front brake dragging?

I usually flush new brake fluid in when I change pads. It's not necessary but after you push the pistons back and install new pads just make sure the fluid is at the upper mark

Yeah they stopped that event shortly before I started riding. Plenty of other places around Harrisburg that have events throughout summer

I always thought it would be cool to ride trials, never have unfortunately.

    Definitely enjoy watching it though!

The amount of talent in those riders is amazing. Not that’s it matters to the dirtbike world but there is a man Named Danny MacaSkill on YouTube who does trials cycling and he is absolutley amazing. I would even say better than motorized trials riders…but a bicycle is way lighter. Worth a few minutes of your day to watch him.

Actually a lot less expensive than woods riding. You don’t put all the fancy parts on. But the bike, maybe add some adjusters and such, then ride.

He’s on another level. Incredible bike trials rider. It’s actually very awkward to ride a trials bicycle. They’re so light and aren’t typically the same setup as far as handlebars and such. Just because they’re so far forward. I tried to ride one a few times and didn’t like it. They’re key to really improving your trials riding though.

Sweet. We started adding everything to the new bike (and some on my son's bike) last weekend.
