It’s a real cool place. It has a kids, intermediate, and advanced track. The owner Dan is really cool and he maintains the tracks really well. It has decent amenities as well like a pro shop, bathrooms, a little diner, and cabins you can rent.

Yessir! almost 100 hours on her. I couldn't wait for this model to come out, but at the time electric start was an extra $650 that I didn't care to spend

I'll play along. 2 summers ago when we were living in the KC area. Still have same bikes. They just aren't as pretty now. Damn rocks and trees keep getting in the way.45216834_10156624059644351_1836474324383432704_o.jpg

Haha, im just playin around. You said "Honda or Husky or nothing", then bought a KTM. I know they are the same-ish, but its not a Husky or Honda. What did you not like about the Kawasaki pictured on your trailer? All bikes are pretty good these days for various reasons. I don't really hate any of them.

I have always purchased Japanese dirt bikes. They are fabulous and I enjoyed everyone I have ever owned (fifteen or so). This Husqvarna is my first non-Japanese dirt bike. The quality of parts, fin-n-finish, etc is above the big four. It is also a step above the KTMs; but a small step. I think I will forever own a Husqvarna!

I agree, but you also pay for it too. My next one will most likely be a KTM / Husky. I now do mostly desert/ single track with some street riding during those rides, and these bikes are more geared toward that. You have to buy a factory plated bike here in CA, no more conversions. I hopped on my buddies 2019 KTM the other day, and the brakes were very, very nice. But, my Kawi is fine for now. Its got 300 hours and on its 3rd rebuild recently. Next time its due, ill consider another bike probably.

I'm in Southern Utah near St George. Just have a yz426 I got for pretty cheap. I only have one guy to ride with down here, and he doesn't ride much so I don't get out as much as I'd like to. If I rode more I'd consider stepping up to a newer machine, but this does fine for what I do. EFI would be nice someday though.

Great thread! Tundras look great with bikes in the back. I have this system that I use to hold mine in place in the truck. It’s pricy but takes 5 minutes to strap everything down.

I’ve been riding dual sport bikes for 15 years. I’ve don’t ride as much as I used to but still enjoy the hell out of it.

Awesome! Glad you are still riding. It's what keeps us young and healthy. I get out once or twice a week (60-100miles) of mostly technical single track and some desert riding. We take two road trips a year as well. This year we are doing Moab again and heading to Idaho for some higher elevation riding.
